45 loose horses

it was quite a sight...gate left open, the WHOLE herd stampeded out, :eek: ran up the hill, ran around the neighbors trailer (who doesn't like the horses anyway!!) then when the barn owner called, one of her favorite horses led them all back into the pasture...

LOL, can you imagine being a little girl getting ready to go to bed.....the kind that all of us most likely were, wishing for a pony? Then looking out the window and seeing a whole herd wandering around the yard out front.....Hahaha!:hysterical:

Glad everyone came back! The horse that led them back in deserves lots of scratches and cookies. :)

uhh, no pics...i actually was riding at the time, bareback, coming back from the trails. the ground is too frozen & slick for anything but a nice, easy walk. Cody saw all the fun & started rearing up wanting to go join in...we did lotsa circles for a few mintues there! poor guy missed the party!
only other riding is in the indoor, which has been modified into a really large roundpen to accomodate a mustang being trained for the mustang challenge. who is really sweet, by the way...and easier to train than most of the "civilized" horses there~
i know, how lucky are we that they decided to come back...the angels must have been on duty that day!
it was every horse on the property...boarders, barn owners, EVERYONE! thanks for the offer to help prissy...

Whew! Glad they all got back safely. My horses got out twice, and had a nice run around the neighborhood. Since i don't live where my horses are, my neighbor's caught them and then called me the next morning. I'm very glad to have horsey neighbors.;)

Holy horse. Wow, I'm glad everything went alright because needless to say...that could've been ugly.
