Does anyone want to critique my ad and tell me what I could change to make it better?
Here it is:

I think the ad sounds good. It's short, but honest and straight to the point! I think he's a very nice looking little horse and I hope he goes to a great home!

I think it sounds very good!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm hoping I find him a good home. I thought I had found a great one and I was just waiting for them to get back with me on a date they were coming. However, I haven't heard anything in a week, so I guess its back to the drawing board.

Doesn't selling flat out suck? When I was selling Jack I had to deal with so many odd people.
First there was the sheath lady (LOL)...all she kept asking were questions about when he had his sheath cleaned, if I did it myself or the vet and so on. My barn owner over heard and later on was laughing and saying what the heck??
Then there was the family that tried putting their 1 year old on his back to brush him while he was in crossties.
Then there were a swarm of people asking to do alot of ring work with him when I advertised him as a trail horse only who doesn't prefer the ring lol. You get all sorts of things coming your way when you try to sell. I truly wish you the best of luck with it...it's frustrating at times! I'm sure you'll find him a great home though. I finally did with Jack.

I think it sounds great. I'm with TBgirl, selling can really suck. :( Good luck finding your guy a home, he's really pretty.

Looks good! I love the pics.
The only thing I might mention is that from hearsay I understand a price under $500 might attract kill-buyers. It might be that he is small enough to be pretty unappealing to those people, though, since they like the big chunky ones best.
Thanks for the feedback.
Honestly I don't think the kill-buyers are buying from our state much. We are a decent distance from both borders and the market has dropped. Problem I am concerend about is $500 might be too much even in our area when well trained trail mounts can't even sell right now at that price.
I like the ad, the only thing I might add would be a confo picture. =]

Very nice ad, the only thing I may add is an explanation for the temperament being a 6. Some people may look at that and say "Whoa, sounds like a handful." You may have it at a 6 because he is just full of wonderful energy (LOL) or a 6 could mean he is tough to handle etc. People may interpret it the wrong way. JMHO :):D
Good luck! He is adorable!
Hmmm...I put it at 6 because he is not 100% gentled yet and takes some time to earn his trust. However, once he is in a working mind frame and in hand, he is a sweety.

Maybe just put that in the ad, that explains it very nicely! And he sure looks like a sweety!

looks great, i love the picture of him! The only thing else I would put would be what type of ground work have you been doing.
