Okay, here's Melee standing square. I thought this would be a decent picture for a critique so rip away!

His name is Melee and he is a 7 year old grade gelding. 15hh exactly and a little over 1,030 pounds according to my weight tape. This was after his bath so he was still wet.. and yes I know he's still dirty, I couldn't get the dirt out of his whiteness.

I know nothing about conformation but I think he's cute. I love his coloring. It's hard to keep them white. My friend who has paints uses some kind of mix of something with I think Ivory Dish Liquid and other things and uses a little brush to get the white white. That's for shows though. Mostly they are dirty no matter what she tries unless she scrubs. I can't see any dirt in the picture. Good luck with him, he really is adorable.

He's adorable!!!!!! He might be VERY slightly sickle hocked (but it could be the way he is standing, his croup is a bit more slopped than I like but that could improve with exercise. Other than that I love him!!!! His cannon bones are great! Nice and short and he has nice short pasterns as well!!! Love his shoulder, his neck is fantastic in my eyes and his throatlatch is lovely as well. He's a chunk isn't he!! Congrats!

"chunk" is right.. :)
He has a pretty upright shoulder and needs some muscling in his neck but he sure is cute. He looks a little camped out in back but that could be the way he's standing.

He's really cute and his coloring is beautiful.....I like those stocky horses!

Thanks everyone! He's stocky stocky stocky and he actually isn't all that fat, I can still feel his ribs(in a good way), but he could maybe lose a tiny bit. I'm not used to having such a stocky horse.

I'm going to have to try the dish soap method for the fairs next year! Sounds inexpensive. :D Thanks!

he's absolutley adorable!!:D he's well built guy.....his croup's a little more sloped than i like, but it's not horrible by any means. he looks so stocky!!! lol
