I meant to post something about this way sooner than right now but I just thought about it again.

I guess the lady we sold Ranger to told my Mom, "you're the one that is selling the Christmas ornaments on the Baywind forum right?" (or something along those lines.. assuming that my Mom is me I suppose). Of course my Mom didn't take much mind to it.. didn't ask if she had a name here or anything. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a chance to talk to her because I was in school when she came to see Ranger, so I have been searching different forums looking to see if I can find Ranger on any of them. She's in PA about two hours away from us, I can't go ask my Mom where exactly she's located or what her name is because she's sleeping.

I just thought it was kind of cool that someone who has visited the forum not only visited our farm, but knew it was us. I guess I'm amused easily. :p

That is cool.
I know a couple of years ago when we got into horses again, I would do searches for tack advice, training advice, etc. Several posts from horse forums came up, including Free Republic, which I eventually joined. I didn't know at first what I was looking at, but now I know these posts are used for passing information and skills to anyone who is looking for specific information.
Thanks for bringing this up!

Thats really neat. I met Blue "Jessica" That way. She came to the barn to see Shadow my BO's TB for sale. At the time I was grooming Dolly. I didn't know it was here until I saw a thread about her riding a grey TB named Shadow. Lol.

Another reason to be careful what you say online - not to be a downer ;) You never know who is lurking...
