I got my top wisdom teeth out this morning and I'm currently hopped up on liquid percocet and hot chocolate ;) I feel like crap mostly, I have a dizzy headache. I barfed in my friend's car on the way home thankfully I had brought a garbage bag in anticipation :puke:LOL. Thankfully it was not with my husband or he would have made me walk home when I puked (j/k). I did that once after having anesthesia but didn't have the foresight to bring a plastic bag and when I begged him to pull to the side of the road to throw up he told me to hold it. He'll never do that again :p LOL sorry to turn this into a thread about vomit!

I make it a practice to never argue with someone who says they want to throw up.

Hope you feel better soon.... I did that too.... the wisdom teeth part, when I was in college.

LOL thanks guys I'm feeing pretty decent actually, much much better than I had anticipated. WB, I don't know what makes him think a person can "hold it" when they are doing to toss their cookies, but now everytime he takes me somewhere that has to do with a medical procedure he covers the seats with plastic garbage bags and makes me hold one just in case!

Oooh hope you feel better soon :-/ getting mine out was awful. Well that part wasn't so bad it was afterwards ;-) I ended up getting dry sockets and it was so painful they stuffed this funky smelling stuff down in there and it hurt like all get out. Shortly after that I got the flu(never really had it) so that just topped everything off. I didn't eat for weeks and dropped about 10lbs which was the only good part about it all, hehehe.

Hopefully you heal quickly with no problems like that hehehe

ROFL It really was, I barfed all over in his nice new GT Celica and his punishment for "Hold it" was having to clean it all out of the hot car in the 90 degree California heat when we got home.

Oh geez RipSpark that sounds terrible!!:( My husband actually had his out in BOOTCAMP and then they left a piece of the tool in his jaw and it took FOREVER to heal! Meanwhile he still had to do the workouts!

I'm trying to keep my wisdom teeth forever. My dentist thinks this is a bad idea, and always lectures me - but when I ask him why they need to come out he says "Well, someday, they might abcess." And I'm willing to wait until they do to have them removed.

Your hubby's wisdom-teeth removal story is the worst one I've heard. I hope you feel better soon! :cowboy:
