I'll give you a clue...

eventers use them, hunter/jumpers do and dressage riders occasionally. western riders don't have much use for them but they're fun just the same....

The stackers look like this but they're green! I'm way excited that I don't have to stuff them in the trailer to really train over obstacles anymore!

Ok, we western riders may not use them for the same reason you do, but training a horse to jump obstacals is something we like to do. Trail riding would be a good example, you come across a tree, your horse better know how to get over it safely.
I use to work all my horses over jumps of some sort.

I cant wait to see your jumps up and in action.:) Got video????

I'm going to see if I can get my babysitter (conveniently one of my students) to take some video tomorrow. The hubby is of the "non-horse" and he won't think it's cool. Although kudos to him for thinking outside the box and getting them in the first place all by himself.

all by himself.
Wow, that is a big step...very cool

He likes to shop. So he goes in to the place and asks someone what stuff trainers like. Then he asks the BO I work for, my various horsey friends, or my aforementioned babysitter if I would like this or that and they in turn find a way to ask me in a way that I don't know they're asking. They're quite crafty. He's supportive which is all I can ask for, he just doesn't want anything to do with the horses. He will ride once a year or so and I'm okay with that.
