my hubby and his horse sterling. she is so fuzzy now. and she is finally sound! when we got her she was so stone bruised that she could barely walk , got shoes on her and she did better but the shoer did a bad job and she ate a bag of grain and foundered. she is all better now and we had a new shoer do her and she is moving so sound. i cant wait till our trucks are fixed we have time to go riding now.

yep, we dont have a saddle that fits her so we ride her bare back and she is great. thanks everyone, the only reason we got her for free was because she was not sound so this is great.

That is a really pretty horse, strikingly white with a very kind face :) I think that's awesome that your husband clicks with her and that she has owners who went through the hard work of getting her sound and comfy again:) Way to go! Can't wait to see riding pics!

Well seeing as how my girl's name is Sterling as well I had to check this thread out!! Your hubby's Sterling is gorgeous!! So glad she is sound now!! Must have been quite a recovery from stone bruises and founder!!!! Good job with her!!

thanks everyone, and hubby says dont mind his clothes, he just crawled out from under his truck, it has a really bad oil leak. i took the pictures on my phone, it takes really good pictures.

What a pretty girl! I love it that you took the time and gave the tlc it took to get her sound again... it is amazing how many people won't and it's so rewarding when you do. Bless you and may your hubby have many happy days with her.

I know the feeling of takin a horse someone gave up on and giving it the much needed care it deserves ...I feel in my heart it makes them try harder to be the horse you dream of owning..Their way of saying thank you
