Has anyone every filed a claim? I bought my truck in oct-nov time of last year and its been to the repair shop 4 times. The truck only has 19000 miles on it...Its a 08' dodge 2500 6.7L diesel 4x4. I love the truck but things keep going worng with the emission filter and the turbo... I now know its common issue they are having but people are saying its a issue every 5-10000 miles. I bought my truck at 15000 miles so 4 repair in 4000 miles? Am I over reacting??

If its a manufacturer's defect it should maybe be under warranty? Not if you bought it used I suppose.

We purchased a used Nissan Altima and never could get the dang thing home. It died on the highway TWICE. The dealer was so disgusted he gave us a different car - a Ford Escort. We were financially strapped and really could not purchase a more expensive car...so we took the Escort and it has been fine. I think if you are going to try to call it a lemon it has to be within 30 days.

Should've bought a Chevy truck...they last forever. Ours has 212,000 miles

Is there anything I can do? The truch is under full warrenty, so its not like I have to pay out of pocket, It just sucks I have to keep taking it in for the same thing...

Thats odd, my brother owns the same truck and it is the most reliable thing we've ever had. Heck, my dad bought four of them for his company to replace the old fords and they are great.

Can't you take it in and have them just replace all the messed up stuff since its under warranty? Its ridiculous to keep patching it and having it break over and over.

My mom had a Volvo she tried to lemon law once. POS car. The same exact part has to break or same exact thing malfunction soemthing like 3 times to be able to lemon law. If it's different things, it doesn't count.

are you taking it to the dealer or to a shop? I believe that you have to give the manufacturer a chance to fix the problem. My dad filed his ford explorer under the lemon law in NJ when they could not fix several problems after many times.

Here is a link that might help you out.
