I'm leaving on Feb. 21 with my family to fly into San Juan and then these are the islands we visit each day:
Sunday - sail from San Juan
Monday - St. Thomas
Tuesday - Dominica
Wednesday - Barbados
Thursday - St. Lucia
Friday - Antigua
Saturday - St. Kitts
Sunday - sail back to San Juan
Can you recommend interesting things to see? I'm really into the historical stuff so, forts, castles. And the beaches too.
I can't wait to be ON the ship!!! We are going to be on the Carnival Victory. They have a 'theatre under the stars' where you sit out and watch movies - either sitting in the pool or on chair by the pool, and hundreds of fun stuff to do on the boat! I don't think I'll sleep the entire week!!
My very first cruise - my whole family is going. We have staterooms with balconies all on one side of the ship (there's about 15 total going I think). I don't have that many in my immediate family but Gram invited her pals to join too.
Cool huh? Wish I could bring the pony with me. It'll be the longest amount of time I've been away from him since the day I bought him 9 years ago. There's supposed to be phone service so I can call the BO.
I wonder if there is internet?
Oh, wow! That sounds great! I've never been to any of those places. What fun and a great time of year to go.

Make sure you go snorkeling. It is a fabulous thing to see what's under all that water. When I went to St. Thomas, we rented a boat and guy to sail it and we went to another island for a day of snorkeling. It was a blast.

We only go to Vermont when we travel, I could tell you anything you wanted to know about that state but nothing about your cruise. I just wanted to say to have a wonderful time! I'm sure you and your boy will miss each other but hopefully you'll have the best time.

A few years ago I sailed out of San Juan and St. Thomas was the only stop that was the same as your itinerary. I spent a week in San Juan last winter and it was great. There is a great fort to tour on San Juan. The cruise line should have all the info you need to get more tours than you can handle.
San Juan is also the home of Bacardi. You can tour the distillery. It's an old cave. Pretty cool. If you are familiar with Bacardi their logo is a black bat on a red background.
The snorkeling is great and there are great beaches everywhere. Take some of what the people on the ship say with a grain of salt. They are affiliated with most places they suggest and get some sort of kickback. That doesn't mean they are bad tours though.
Good luck, have fun and take lots of pics as the scenery is great too!

I'm not into the snorkeling - I tried when I went to Oahu - but just couldn't get the hang of it! I plan on going on the beach and swimming though. It's been 85F down there all week so the weather's been just NICE in that area. It'll be a nice change from 40F!
I can't wait. It's going to be a lot of fun!!!!

Omg, I love St. Lucia! I went with my family once a few years ago. It's the most gorgeous place I've ever been. Make sure you visit the Pitons. They're two side by side volcanos (inactive!) and have a bottle of the beer named after them. They brew it right there on the island and it's really good.
St. Lucia is really cool because one side of the island is on the Atlantic and the other is on the Pacific. We took a trail ride that took us from one to the other and I got to ride bareback in the Pacific and gallop down the beach. It was so much fun!
