After spending some time with my mare my sister and I went over to my aunt’s place and worked with her 3 year old red dun registered appaloosa mare, Babe. She is a sweetie and I am currently helping training her!

She may have been being a brat, but she sure looks pretty doing it!

I think I need a chain like that on Ickabod at the lunge, he goes CRAZY, in a he looks like a bucking bronco brat way... at least she is a brat with class, lol pretty pretty

Yeah she used to go insane...you would ask her to canter and end up digging your heals into the ground trying to reel her in as she bolted around. I know hardly have to use it, it used to scare the tar out of me how fast she could continue to go even though I took her into a smaller and smaller space.

I know just what you mean. Ickabod just pulls and bolts, and bucks huge bucks. Its crazy, and scary, but I always try to end on a good note.

Thanks she is a red dun...and she is only 3
Thanks everyone for the comments, she is special to me.
I worked with Babe again today, she had a great improvement and is such a people friendly horse I absolutly adore her. She follows me around everywhere...such a ham. She collects her canter wonderfully on her own and extends if asked. Part of me thinks she would do wonderful in low level dressage or gaming with how fast she turns and stops.
