more snow...where is spring?

Just as the refreezes at night are coming to an end from last weeks storm. There is another on its way. I live in the lovely darker blue area that is expecting 6-12 inches of snow. At least it is snow this time and not the ice we got last week. Last week we got about 2-3 inches of snow with near an inch of ice on top of it. Sure made for an interesting day. Of course my trash pick up was the same day as the foul weather, so that was screwed up as well. Trash just got picked up yesterday. Wonder how all this snow is going to make things this week. Storm is expected to hit tomorrow afternoon (great, when I'll be an hour and a half away from home as a witness in court!), and last through Tuesday night. Where is spring?

There is still close to 2 months of winter left! Better just settle in and learn to enjoy it! ;) LOL.

I have a feeling it'll be like last year, we went from in the 30's to 90 almost overnight. There was no spring like there was no fall. We've had snow on the ground since Oct. We still have so much ice in the driveway, I can't say I'm excited about more coming. Snow is OK, ice is horrible. We had 8 degees this a.m. and it's 43 now.

Yep, I'm in the dark blue too, just farther north, right on the PA,NY,NJ boarder in the Pocono Mts. Snow on top of the ice should be quite an adventure when I walk the dog.

Oh wonderful... I am in the dark blue band of snow also... better go get more groceries.. :rolleyes:
