Should I sell this tack or not?

I started to get show tack a year or two ago and it is not looking to be in my future anytime soon.. I am in college now and am getting married in 2 years, so showing is probably not going to be in my plans any time soon. I am going to try barrels with my horse and I need to get stuff for that. I could do play days and that stuff does not have to be fancy. I would love to have turquoise matching tack, but techinaly (spell) I have everything I need to do barrels. I have some show tack that I kinda want to sell to get money for buying new stuff I need more. I just hate to sell it but have had it for a year at the lease maybe two and have never used it! Would you guys sell it or not?

If you've had it for this long and never used it and don't think you'll be using anytime soon.... just sell it. It's kind of a no brainer. Use the money to buy stuff you need.

Its time to let it go. I just did the same thing except I had a barrel saddle+very nice pad+ bridle with a hack and an outfit that was purple and it all matched perfectly. I did actually use mine 4-5 times but now I have a pleasure horse so I sucked it up and sold it on Ebay. It looked so good together but it wasnt doing any good sitting on a saddle stand in my basement. Take one last picture with your show stuff and then list it on ebay. Out with the old in with the new!

I would try selling it, but it's not really a good time to sell. A LOT of people are cleaning out their tack rooms trying to get some cash back in their pocket, so you might not get much for it. I would hold firm to your prices and just not sell if you can't get what it's worth.

You don't really "need" this stuff, but you also don't really "need" more stuff either, lol. :cool:

I have such a hard time getting rid of anything since the minute I do I'll need it. If I did more shows I'd want a nice show saddle, well I want one even though I only do 2 or 3 shows but then I fall in love wish so many different saddles and don't have the $ to buy more. I have so much stuff that I probably don't need but I just can't seem to get rid of it!

Ya, Im in the same boat as far as selling a saddle I have. Thing is, its been sat in MAYBE 10 times, and is still in great shape, BUT the price has dropped on the saddle so much that Im keeping it.

I hope you do not come across that issue, and can sell it for what it is worth.
