No... I don't have new photos yet - tomorrow I swear. But I am just sitting her with a big smile on my face over my little Binx and wanted to tell you THANK YOU.
Thank you for pulling those little critters out of the barn and feeding them.
Thank you for taking the time to make them love people.
Thank you for trusting me to take good care of them and letting me have two.
And thank you the very most for convincing me to take the HippyWitch Cat aka Binx. I remember that I knew I wanted Blair but I was unconvinced on Binx... and as I sit here bleeding from Blair's scratch to my neck but listening to Binx purr in my arms - I am so thankful to you.:)

That's so cute. Hippie Witch Cat, that's funny! I am happy they got a good home after WB gave them so much love and attention. I have my own "wild" kitten right now, I hope she'll come around. She's pretty good but sort of scared still, of course she just came yesterday so she's not doing so bad. She was rescued from a feral cat colony and still has some issues I think. Give your babies hugs from mine! I love kitties!

Sedona: I'm so glad that things turned out so well for you with Binx! Just shows it pays to take a chance!
Oursarge: I'm so glad you were finally able to get your kitty! Hopefully, it won't be too long before you'll be able to put up pics!

Thank you for taking the time to make them love people.
Well, it sounds like I was more successful with one than the other! :D

I know exactly how nice Binx is. Because that whole first litter was like that, and our Wicket too, is just a lover of attention.
Blair and the others... (Any update from the friend you gave the others to?) even though I think they were younger, were always a bit more fearful, a little bit more feral. So maybe it's your pretty one who would like to live in the barn...
Thank you for giving them both a home. :D

I never posted on it, but the feral cat thread is why I followed this group to this forum. Please keep the updates, and especially the pictures, going.

Oh - well, we'll get an update written then! That was so fun I've thought about going into the feral kitten fostering business! (just kidding honey!)
Wicket is doing real good, she was spayed about two weeks ago now. Funny thing is her stitches were to be the dissolving kind, and she seemed to be healing fine, but she developed a bit of a bump at the end of her incision I was keeping an eye on... it got a little pimply looking and then crusty but not bad, I was just keeping an eye on it. Next day, I was poking around on it and the crusty scab came off and out came all her string! - pulling it all out this little hole. It was not connected to anything. It was like her body had healed but rejected the string. Ever heard of that??
The last two feral kittens (siblings to one of the ones Sedona has, though we caught them much later) are here in the house with us, still semi wild, I don't know if they'll ever really be pets, but they're getting better the longer they live with us. I really want them to be. The little timid Peanut is sweet, just real cautious, and the handsome Jack is just cute as a button. I can pet them only sometimes, if they're sleepy and I'm real quiet. But they'll eat out of my hand, they use the litterbox, they get along with the dogs fine, they watch us all the time, they just aren't quite ready to think they are part of us. There's a couple pictures of them in my albums, I'll post some more and an update in the days to come.

At least Peanut and Jack are eating out of your hand, WB! That's good progress. Can hardly wait to see more of your kitties in posts!
Sedona, I've been having a Binx and Blair withdrawl!

Well I tried to get pics today but the kittens weren't cooperating... here are the two I did get. Binx is "chirping" in her pic - she does this when she wants to be picked up. Blair, little devil that she is, has found Bill the Beagles pillow laying on top of the coffee table while it's cover goes through the wash - notice the piece of stuffing she has pulled out lying by her feet as she says "HUH? I don't know what you're talking about - I'm just sitting here".
Oh - we also had "weigh in" today... they are almost too big for the kitchen food scale!
Binx - 6 pounds 7 ounces
Blair - 5 pounds 2 ounces
Lately Blair hasn't been eating much but Binx has been making sure none goes to waste!:)

That calico is beautiful! I love her markings! And the black ones a cutie too. So I"m assuming these were the WB"S kittens?

They are so cute and have gotten so big! I'll be glad when my little girl will pose. She's still a little scared, she has only been here since Sunday. She's getting better but is still cautious. I want to get a picture of her playing with her feather toy when she's standing on her back legs, it's adorable. She wasn't fond of the camera first time we took pictures when we met her. I hope she'll settle in like Binx and Blair did! They look very happy!
The Feral Kitty thread was my favorite to read. I read every word of it. Hugs to all of them!

Wow - I can't believe it's been two years! My little girls are still pretty little compared to the other resident cats, and they still act like kittens running around fighting and playing. They are such a part of the family - I can't imagine them not being here... thanks WB! Here are some pics I took of Binx and Blair tonight.

Binx is just like our Wicket, just shorter hair... And that Blair is a pretty thing isn't she... the fractious ones usually are! :)
I'm glad they'd fit in so well there with you. I guess the other stories are happy too, last we heard! I think it's too bad the other two kittens from the Binx litter went blind, but I think it was certainly something those people did with their diet, and though she said they'd adjusted fine, it's still sad. It's because they were such nice kittens, I suppose, that they could have adjusted so well to it.
Thanks for the pics and update! It's funny out here... I need to get ours turned loose and hope they will build the barn and garage into their hunting grounds... Or I'm actually going to need some more cats ;)
