i was wondering if anyone else had tried these? my husband and i love them! they are so easy to cook and for me that is a good thing because i am so not a cook, lol. but we also love them because for the price($3-$4 a box) we get a really good meal. yeah it takes two boxes to fill up my husband and me but he is a bottomless pit when it comes to food, but one box is fine for 2 people that eat a normal amount. and there is like 12 different types so you could eat a different type of meal a day and all you need is water to make it!! it comes with all the food!

***for all the college kids out there these are great for you if you are on a budget!***

Ya, I look at those boxes, read the salt, fat content and go ugh. I then get the things needed to make the same thing, go home and toss it together. MMMMmmmmmgood.
So is the boxed stuff, just dont like the fats and salts.

Ah - well, we haven't bought those...

When we want something fast and easy we're partial to Marie Calendar Pot Pies :D

Would love to cook more of the convenient stuff but my other half has high cholesteral and high blood pressure so we are better off cooking from scratch. It worked as at the last doctor visit her cholesteral was down 15%--still high but going in the right direction.

We had a few when they first came out. If I am going to buy a kit type meal I'd get the skillet scrambles that you just add meat to or they have meat in them. Usually a stir fry type thing. I can't cook either but I am learning...got burned out on Hamburger helpers... throw some meat in the skillet, veggies in a pot with water, and sometimes potatoes. The meat in a skillet is easy and so is the veggies. Just open a can.

My husband went to culinary school but good luck trying to get HIM TO COOK..

oh man, I used to love that stuff, especially the wings when I had the mun...oh never mind...lol
I do like their chicken, but only eat the white meat, no one to eat the rest, so its a waste to buy it.

The only ones of the Homestyle that we like is the chili cassarole or something like that. But it till takes awhile. If I need something fast.....which is every other night, it's either pasta or cereal. :innocent:
