I found time to take some pictures today.. I cheated a little because I took some pics of a local trail while working. I usually try to drive my squad down some of the trails every week. The State's website says there are a lot less miles of trail than what is actually there. There are close to 75 miles of trail in this unit. In my albums you will find a small sample. It's in the Zumbro River valley and these pics are from a very old road that goes through it. Some trails are along the river and others go up and down the hills.

Heh... How about this... Now that you've got it, I'll clean up the rest of this thread so you can keep going. (I need the practice)

Well that was an adventure in posting! Not sure why it didn't want to work. I didn't do anything different when it did work. Too bad they aren't more exciting pics compared to the frustration to post. Anyway I'll get better as will the pictures.
We are not at peak color yet but it's supposed to rain today and that usually takes a bunch of leaves off the trees.

One of these days I'll get some pics of the trails with my horses ears in the middle. It's a dream that is getting closer :cowboy:

Love those fall colors, the leaves are about at peak here too, my favorite time of year....too bad it didn't last for several months like this.
Those trails look so inviting, makes me want to just take a nice canter down 'em!

The section I took the pics in is wide enough to drive my pickup but many of them are single track trails and wind around where I can't get the truck. I can get to most of them with an ATV but I try not to do that too often. I usually ride them on the ATV when there are no horses around if I can just to check out the more remote areas. I've been on all of the trails in this unit and others either in my squad, on mountain bike or on foot. It's a very pretty area if I do say so myself :).
