This is a two part question :)
1) What's your favorite perfume/spray/lotion that you like to wear or that you just like to smell (could be one for your guy!)
My favorite scent as of yet is called Miss Marissa, it's a scented oil and it smells like peaches and fresh laundry! Yummm Of course I love alot of other scents but that's the one I wear the most. I'm also looking to get a new one from Ralph Lauren called HOT. It's so yummy, it almost smells hot!
On guys I love Burberry :)
2) What smells do you like out there in the world? Don't be afraid to list weird one!
I love the smell of:
Asphalt after the first rain
Video Stores (like Blockbuster)- I have no idea why, lol, I just do.
Vanilla
Citronella Fly Spray
Jasmine
Those are just a few...
Pinky

2) The smell of a petrol station
Post Office smell! (Don't even ask ;))
New leather
Neatsfoot Oil :p
Tea Tree Oil
and the smell of PC World! (can ya tell I'm a total nerd? :D)

I don't really wear anything. . .I like the smell of orange scented lotions. . and there is this stuff I bought at the Hyatt Hill Country Spa and Resort that is a room spray and I love it to death!! It's a citrusy smell with grapefruit and it's wonderful.
My favorite smell of all time is the smell of night, when it starts getting cooler and you can smell the earth and the trees and sometimes something sweet. . .I used to smell it everyday when I was working as a breeding assistant. I had to put the mares back in their pasture and it was often dark outside (around 10:00 at night) and it would just be me and Shorty (the only gelding in the operation) putting all the mares and foals back into their respective pastures. We had to ride about a mile to get everyone settled and I loved every minute of it!
I also love the smell of the Marigold horse spray. It's one of those natural fly sprays and it smells WONDERFUL!! It's expensive but I use it when we are going places, like to the vet, or the farrier is coming. . .lol. Anywhere I"ll be around the horses for a while! The vet calls it their "perfume" because they always smell so good when they come. Lol.

Can a guy play this game?
I agree with after a fresh rain. As far as everyday scents my favorite is "unscented." My nose is very sensitive to most perfumes (drives my wife nuts). Anything flowery smelling makes me react like an allergy. Perfumes or colognes that are more musk like can be pretty good. Did I mention that I am a guy? LOL

Isn't it funny how scents smell different on different people? It frustrates me though because I'll absolutely LOVE a scent on someone and then go out and buy it and it smells nasty on me....grrr.
Oh I forgot, I love Puppy breath too!!! Oh my nose was in my dogs mouth everyday when she was a wittle. So preciously skunky :)

I wear Pink (thanks, Diane!) and sometimes Happy. I love the smell of Tommy Girl (old school? lol) but I don't really like to wear it that much. It's a little bold/musky for me.
And aside from horses/barns/the other obvious ones:
(this was a mistake for me to see this thread; I'm a smell/memory-link freak!)
I love the smell of land being cleared, especially after it rains. That fresh cut tree/dirt/wormy smell.. reminds me of when my grandparents had the land cleared for my pasture- I thought I was dreaming!
I LOVE the smell of fresh sawdust when someone's sawing lumber.
I love the smell of my outdoor cat, on the sides of his neck just below his ears. When I was a little girl, I had a tomcat named Bandit and I can remember burying my face in his neck there and he smelled the exact same way.
I love the smell of a bonfire/brush fire in fall.
I love the smell of SSS. I really don't like the too-sweet smell in itself, but I used tons of it on my horse when I got him (I was 12) and it will forever remind me of that time. :)
Can I do one more? I love the smell of a puppy's breath. My grandmother loves that smell and so it reminds me of her.
Okay I'm stopping!

LOL....speaking of scents. I'm sitting here in my office and can see out into the street, and I just saw a skunk run across and go behind the building...yikes. My building is next door to a restaurant and the owner of it told me that they have had trouble with a skunk hanging around their dumpster. I went over there and warned them because it's closing time and they take the trash out for the night. I don't think the trash is going out tonight:)
Funny that I saw this thread right at this time:)

The smell of puppy breath is another favourite of mine. I will admit, I refrained from saying that one because too often people are like "you like the smell of puppy breath? You're sick!" So, I don't tell anyone that anymore, but since some of you guys said it, it'll be alright for me to come clean about that one too!

ANNND I love the smell of children's section library books.

Wow, I'm right there with ya. I love the smell of Libraries in general but the Kid section has a different twist to it. I used to sit in front of the "horse section" and read ALL the books they had. I still remember the pictures so vividly. Wish I could remember some of the titles.

I don't wear scents because they hurt my nose, but my hands down favourite smell in the world is my horse. I just love to bury my nose in her fur. I also love the smell of my cats, of snow, of lemon and the smell of barn-coveralls combined with molasses- it smells just the way my great-uncle used to smell.
