Love this time of year

Well as many of you may or may not remember, I was living with they "in-laws" at the beginning of this year. Thankfully we have moved on & moved out and now have a place of our own! BEAUTIFUL. Our closest neighbor is 2 miles away! We are surrounded by farm fields & a hunting perserve thingy. LOL. My point for this post is I just caught sight of Canadian Geese flying off the bay over the house & laying in the field in front of our house. They are out there honking away! I love that sound! As I turned around from my computer I saw 2 buck sanding in the midst of them! Ugh I love cool October Evenings. Shoot... time for class. Talk to you all later. I'll post of pictures of my view later!

Wow, that does sound beautiful. Just the same here in Michigan. Last Friday, a huge "V" of geese flew right over the house, honking away like crazy. Beautiful.

Geese are already flying overhead here, and most of the leaves have fallen.

I know I went up to Pa this past weekend to visit family & most of all the leaves were brilliant colors! In DE they are still a little green but slowly they are turning! Gosh I just love this weather!! Love it love it! GREAT RIDING WEATHER TOO. Here is a few pictures of our view from our house!

1st one: Looking off our back porch towards the Delaware Bay @ sunset!
2nd one: Is looking in same direction at Sun rise!!

I don't have any recent pictures with all the fields cut! I'll have to get some tomorrow! ;)

3rd is taken from our roof and its what we see when we look off our front porch! That's all cut now of course!

P.s. I'm sorry I don't know how to make the pictures NOT thumbnails. In time I'll figure it out! LOL.

P.s. O I love the sound of the Geese in the morning & in the evening coming into the fields to eat! Its a beautiful sight to sit on the porch, drink your coffee & watch them play. Wonderful!

I like watching the geese too. After having them when I was young, the sound of them irritate me.
They are beautiful to watch though.

LOL I can understand the fact of them irritating you! I use to be scared crapless of geese! Still am! Long story short my Aunt dared me to grab one when we were picnicing out at a lake & of course my teenage self did! And it attacked me & chased me for a good bit! LOL Needless to say they scare me but I love watching them fly & land & love their noisy racket! They taste good too. LOL That's terrible I know! I'm sorry!

Not terrible at all. Consider it pay back for them chasing you..lol, I am kidding.
I dont eat geese, or there eggs anymore, but you enjoy it.

Hey anytime! It's really not all that exciting in DE. Not much to do in the winter/fall time of course! Summer you got beaches but FL and other states have much better beaches! LOL> I don't even go to my beaches up here! LOL. :eek:

But hey if your looking to go on a vac. where you have to do nothing but relax... come on over!
