I've been a bad girl...:nono:

I have another 2 years of school left and my fiance has another 4. But I keep going onto craigslist and finding beautiful properties I want to buy in the places we've talked about living...:whack: I found really cheap properties with barns and pastures already built and good sized houses... the boys would love it. I need to quit dreaming :nono:

Never quit dreaming....maybe you could buy some land now so it will be affordable and build later.

Mercury I feel the same way as you do. I have started my career path late & now wish I never have. Here I sit in a beautiful rented home but it is not mine. I can not have my horse here & I do the same thing you do... look at land & day dream. Like Jackie said its important to look & focus on what you want for your future so you continue doing whats right in your present!! Hold on to those dreams girl ~ Lord I know how you feel. I say the same thing to my hunnie ~ all this cheap, nice land & we can't do it until I'm done with nursing school!!

Don't stop dreaming! I started a family way to early in life and played catch up for a long time. Then a divorce(after 28 years) made me take quite a few steps backwards. I re-married and just bought my little hobby farm 3 years ago. I am in deeper debt than ever but I am now a first time horse owner and living in what my friend referred to as "paradise" when he stopped in the other day. If you don't have dreams you have nothing to strive for. Keep trying. You have a whole life in front of you.

Years and years ago, there was a commercial on TV where a women is standing in front of her red barn with a horse. I used to dream about owning a farm like that some day. Well, it took awhile but today, I have a farm and 3 red barns. NEVER stop dreaming!

Dreams are what keep us going! Never give up on your dreams. I wish properties were cheaper here! We own a house, but I want horse property again....I keep searching and dreaming that I will once again have horse property...I know it will happen when the time is right. But for now I have a nice home and my horses are only 2 miles doen the road.

Now is a really good time to buy properties....

If we could get our act (and money) together to start looking, we really should be looking at BaywindFarm property, NOW before it starts going back up.

Thanks for the encouragement! I just hope the market it similar when I can actually BUY my dream property!

Bay- one of the areas I looked at was in your area. There's a lot of nice stuff listed on craigslist! LOL

oh - should I look? :)

Prices are all over the board here. We want to start going out and actually walking properties so we can really assess what makes the prices what they are, and what we want.

I'm seeing it in my area too....only thing is, selling is really tough....I almost wish I hadn't bought my house a few years ago because now is the perfect time to buy for the first time!

Dont quit dreaming, it's those dreams that keep us going when real life sucks! If I had stopped dreaming, I would have never gotten this farm or ever gotten back into horses and showing--at age 47!!

Never let "Your Dreams" end. You will have your time...Two years goes by really quickly.

SM and I did take advantage of this "good time to buy land"...That is why we have Buck's Hollow. And ...we are still Dreaming....about all the things we want to do there. lol

And of course, there was my life long Dream for my very own horse!!!

Dreams are important. We bought our land years before we moved up to it and slowly we're building up what we want it to be. Got the barn, now we're going to add lean-to's on the front and back :cowboy: . Our dreams are works in progess, and sometimes we change them just a little, but we never stop dreaming or planning.
