Wheel Of Fortune -- dog owners?!

OK.....so when "Wheel of Fortune" comes on the TV, if I happen to have that channel on at the time, I have to make sure I change the channel ASAP because every time that dinging noise goes off on "Wheel of Fortune" my two crazy dogs think it is our doorbell and they start barking like fools! :rolleyes:

Anyone else's dogs do this, or are my two crazy canines the only ones?! lol!
It's kind of hilarious, but after awhile you'd think they'd get a clue!

My wacky pug barks anytime he hears a doorbell on tv. He freaks out when he hears the weather jingle on the radio, too. Funny thing is, I dont even have a doorbell!

We don't have a habit of watching Wheel of Fortune, but there's many triggers for my Gidget, who is obsessed with the television. She watches it for hours.

America's Funniest Pets - the whole thing especially the Animaaaail song... I can sing that any time and get her to wig out.
Cops (shouting and aggressive postures)
Baseball (it's the swinging bats)
The Dog Whisperer
Lord of the Rings - key parts.
Harry Potter - same
Babe

And here's a big favorite I have on video... the Pierre Money Mart Ad. - She either loves or hates the little car that bounces across the screen. Hard to tell :)

Another quirky thing that happened the other day... I was sitting here on the forum and did something wrong with another program and locked everything up.

I was clicking things and nothing was responding and sitting here by myself, I said "HELLOOOOOO!" to the computer.

All the dogs started barking like there was someone here... :rolleyes:

There are some movies we can't watch except for the enjoyment of watching her watch it... Which, btw, we have been known to do. :)

See how the fish peeps? At :08 when he peeps, or whatever that noise is, it's so cute, my birdy just mimics him. It can be even when my bird is sleeping, I just hear a peep from the cage. xD

That's so cute! The only time Noah responds to the TV is when there is a smoke alarm going off, he goes nuts. He is terrified of that noise. There was one commercial for a smoke detector and I'd have to mute it when ever it was on because he'd get so upset.

When I had my dog Koty he would watch TV. He loved watching animals on TV and would sit there and watch. If another dog came on he'd come and get me so I could see too. It was so cute. He loved Lassie, I never saw Lassie but I'd put it on for him [Reruns on some channel] and he'd watch the whole show. He also loved The Smurfs!

My Westie would watch and go wild if she saw a horse, she'd stand right up on the screen so she could see close. I always wish she lived long enough to meet our horses. She would have loved them.

I never watch Wheel. I'll have to put it on sometime to see what the beginning sounds like!
