I woke up this morning with a horrid headache and coughing, so I went in told the dad I wasn't going to school and went back to bed. Which took like two hours to try and fall back asleep. Didn't get up till about 8 and then I had some poptarts..and cough meds.
But anywho on to my rides =) I rode my sister's 5yo and he was a goof, his trot is amazing he's only about 15.1hh but his strides equal atleast a 17hh horse, so easy to sit and post. He gets really round and light now we are just woeking on stearing, leg yeilds, and moving forward. I even got him to canter in the indoor something he's never done before. But it was funny we haven't cantered him much so when I was asking it was ask-buck-canter (And he got a tap for every buck which brought on more bucks which lead to laughing and pushing him forward) His canter is a super canter I don't know how he does it because he's really narrow and Im huge on him but he manages to reach under himself and carry himself like and amazing little super star pony he is.
I rode my hunter next and he was his normal naughty I'll canter when I feel like it and still jump amazing self, I'd been having problems with him and we put the pelham on and now he is reaching underhimself even more and super light on his forehand. I rode him bareback in the feild and we galloped and helped the dog chase rabbits =)
My little RTR was last but he had been throwing a fit before I rode him because he needed his main pulled and he hates that. But I rode him in the ring a little then we went outside and did some collections and a big massive gallop. Now I know why jockeys love racing horses I really let him almost all the way out today and it was a thrill he reaches up and out and shoots out like a missel. I cannot wait for him to go around cross country (We jumped a puddle today it was so funny we were galloping and it was mud mud Oh No Mom its a Pony eating puddle big leap jump over and gallop gallop) He didn't even glance at the puddle just jumped right over it..
I brought the camera to get pictures had my big zoom lense on then bam guess what blondie forgot...yeah the batteries...
