The horse show this weekend :)

OK so, horse show. I rode Captain, a NSH, and we went in Open English Pleasure, section B.

There were a lot of nice horses, and we even had the judge request an extra trot, to help her decide! It was great fun!

I placed third! :)

I didnt get any in the actual riding arena, because it is soooo dark in there. But, I have a photo session soon, So I will get some riding pictures up :)

I was having a hard time getting him to be active with his legs.... he was busy making me work his mouth.... he was collected well enough, just not stepping up enough.

I have considered this as a profession, i seem to be catching on faster than I have caught on to a lot of stuff.


I thought posting would be harder saddleseat, but it is actually easier, because they have SO much hock action, you really dont have to work at all, their hip motion does do all the work of posting! :)

Mypaint pony- no he doesnt have a low back, he was standing like that because i mistakenly had the curb rein too tight, and he was hollowing out to try and release the pressure.
