O.K.--disclaimers
I took 12 and a half minutes of video--too long to upload on youtube or anywhere else. I ran it through my mac to cut it down to under 5 minutes. But converting it back to quicktime took away some of the quality--which wasn't great to begin with because it's a little point and click camera.
From now on--stop and start and stop and start for shorter movies!
So...the quality's not great, and converting it added an awful whine so be warned--TURN DOWN YOUR SOUND!
The pond stuff is the worst in terms of focus--things are a little better later, check out the dust after he rolls!

That was awesome! What a beautiful place Arrow gives to live! I'm very jealous! It looks like he was having a good time, though!

That was great. Thanks for sharing! I loved the dust. Gotta get nice and dirty after a bath.:) Oh, and your hands are so steady with the camera. I don't know how you do it. :p:p:p:p

Hey, cat--yeah, I love that cloud of dust! I did ride him after, but bareback, didn't get him clean enough for a saddle and girth!
And cloed--Arrow does love it there! It's about 8 acres with a herd of 12 or 14 including him. That horse playing in the pond with him is a 2 year-old. His brother was 2 and he was a yearling when Arrow arrived, and they were the first two to let into the herd, so I've always had a soft spot for them.

Let me tell you my secret, JackieB...I edited out about 7 of the 12 minutes!:innocent:

Wow that is so cool!!! We had a pond at my old barn, but they never really went IN the pond, just kinda walked around in the mud surrounding it..

Well--it was mid-October, winter coats, and 80 degrees! I'm thinking that had something to do with it!
Thanks for the comments, and you, too, valleyrider!

Okay!! This is where I was when I had the Hiccup!! Lol. I had hit send and the internet went kaput!!! So I'll try again!!
That video makes me miss my pond!! Sterling and I use to spend every minute we could in our pond during college (during Summer months). In fact Sonora was pretty much raised in a pond her first year of life. She's not a big fan of water still though. . . Arrow is beautiful!

Thanks so much! I've found him playing in there more than once, but never when I've had a camera with me.

That was adorable. I found myself rooting for him to roll all the way over.:) Isn't that good luck or something! He took his own little bath and then, dried himself off--good boy.

Wow. We have a pond but I've NEVER seen our two horses doing anything other than drink from the edge. Definitely looks like he's having a blast in there cooling off!
