So it's about a month away now - anyone planning on going?

I'm planning on being there Thurs and Friday for sure at this point :) I'm starting to work on my list of things I'd like to pick up while I'm there.

Ever since I've ridden at The Canadian Cowgirls' barn, and they've went and ridden at it, I've always wanted to go. I won't be going anytime soon, but mabey someday I'll make a trip out of it and head on down there to see it.

I am hoping to go this year. My bestest friend in the whole world has been chosen to do not one but 2 demos with Charmayne James on Thursday. I am soooo happy for her.

I need to find someone to go with as the drive by myself is more than I want to do.

TanyaC - how far up are you? That really can be a long drive, Lil'Bit spend some time up in the Dexter area - now that was a drive, I was living on Cape Cod at the time.

I am about 2 hours north of Kittery. Sure is a drive. I went to Dover NH with Cane yesterday and dealt with the leaf peeper traffic the whole way. Then the drive home was long as I was trying not to cry........

I am right beside the state capital of Augusta.

Yes, we are going. Even after my hubby had a brain tumor, stroke and open heart surgery he wanted to go. We take our trailer as you can camp there for $25/day and they have full hook-ups. It's great because you can shop til you are exhausted, come back, rest, go back to clinics....

They have really good people there this year, and usually have good deals on horse "necessities."

This is going to be my first year since being into horses that im not going. I cant spare the money, I am prepping for winter and need sand, a new blanket and still need to pay for lessons.

Woo Hoo it starts tomorrow. Guess I'm going to be checking out all the saddle vendors this year so I can sit in a bunch of them all in one place :)

I would have loved to attend this expo!! I went to Univ of Mass and this is just around the corner..... Hope all have fun.......the shoeing exhibition/championship sounds really cool...... there is supposedly a great exhibit on gaited horses......Someone take pictures!!:cowboy:

I was going to go but the person I was gonna go with backed out. I only have one car and leaving my hubby stranded with 1 is unfair. Maybe next year, its like a 4-5 hour drive from where I am in maine, plus its to late to get a hotel...

We all need to make a plan for next year and get together :) I love to go and window shop if nothing else this year I'm looking forward to watching Lendon Gray tomorrow and Linda Allen :) I'll try to take pictures!

Jet, If you see Clinton Anderson, can you get a pic of him for me? I'd be satisfied with just one, if ya see him. :P Oh and if you get to talk to him tell him I need a personal trainer for Pandora after her ride today, oh and, oh and...I'm listing toooo much now. LOL

Oh All4 and I will be going in January. I do miss our yearly attendance at Springfield though. For years we were running the SPHO booth and breed demo... good times... good times...

Eventually we'll get going with the standardbreds out here.
