My hubby just baught a Dodge crew cab last night. Bright Red 4x4, 2005, 14,000 miles in perfect condition. 5.7 v8. Yeah gets only 13 miles per gal, but what do I care it can tow my horse trailer, lol. It will be parked more oftain than not, but at least now we don't have to put so much ware and tear on my little Blazer.

*sigh* hubby looks good in a truck....;)

No pictures yet, he took it to work. Silly Boy.

pic in post 14. with my birthday gift (from the hubby).

We've been seeing that trend for a long time now here, you can get diesels pretty cheap since it's so darned expensive. But now we have diesel for 3.55 or sometimes lower a gallon so now they are jacking prices up again.

*sigh* never ending cycle.

How cool! We are looking at deisels too! Same thing, not an everyday vehicle, just something to pull all the trailers with! We are looking at Fords though! :)

The Dodge was out of the blue, we usually buy Chevy. But this Dodge was just to good a deal to pass up. Good luck with your truck shopping.

yup at the beginning of the year I was seriously considering getting a new truck, like mine but wanted something other than a single cab, one truck I looked at an 08 4 dr king ranch f250 4x4 diesel was listed at 44,000 ( note this was wishing) about 3 weeks ago I was back at the dealership to get Caries car fixed the same truck was marked down 19,000 dollars, almost 50 %. Its a good thing she handles the check book.

LOL gabhainn....I know the feeling. I was at a trailer dealership.....my daughter liked the $38K LQ, but I looked at things a bit less.....I still had to walk away though, because we have to have the truck to pull the trailer. It's dangerous for me, because I AM the one who takes care of the checkbook and I had it in hand that day! Could have been a LOT of explaining to do if I had bought a trailer before getting the truck! LOL

CONGRATS APPYLOVER!

Can't wait to see your new rig next week.

CountryGirl,
I understand about check book in hand and LOTS of explainin LUCY. Been there and done that one a few times to the hubby.
I don't know which story is the best, the first horse trailer I bought (horse and trailer combo) or the last one! Good thing I have a very LOVING and UNDERSTANDING hubby.

APPY,
PICTURES, PICTURES, PICTURES,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

He is not a silly boy for taking it to work, he is a proud boy.

Best part is you get to use it to haul.

I got that beat! Unfortunatly I was too slow and it got bought before I could get there.

But a dealership in Montgomery had a 2005 Dodge 1500 Quad Cab 4x2 with 48K miles for only $9,000. I was stupid not to have gone at gotten that! I'm in desparate need of a bigger truck, and now is definatly the time to buy!

I just got a 2006 dodge ram 2500 heavy duty quad cab with the cummins diesel 60000 miles for $13900 I love it but they only offered 500 for my 98 1500 quad cab so I kept it I guess my 16 year old daughter will have a ram to drive Randy
