This is one of my favorate events and since I know we have lots of people who love to take pictures of their horses......
Hello everyone!
Please forward this to your horse-owning or riding friends, family, etc. I would love to have a record-breaking number of entries this year!
It is time for another Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society Virtual Horse Show! These virtual shows are fundraisers for BEHS: the entry fees and sponsorship fees help us care for critters like Carlyle. Carlyle is a shy donkey who was found abandoned by law enforcement. It doesn't appear like he's had an easy life, but he's slowly learning to trust people in his foster home.
For those who haven't participated in a virtual show before. They're fun! Instead of getting up at the crack of dawn and spending the day out in the heat, you enter photos of your favorite horses, donkeys and mules in classes ranging from halter to performance to costume. We also have a class for your favorite cat and dog! Classes are placed to 6th place. 1st place winners get rosettes and 2nd - 6th place receive ribbons. We also have a high point and reserve high point award.
It cost just $5 per photo to enter, $50 for unlimited entries for one horse, and $100 for unlimited entries for multiple horses.
Please visit http://www.bluebonnetequine.org/virtualshow/spring2009show.htm to learn more, enter your photos or become a class sponsor.
I look forward to seeing your photos in the show!
