I meant to post this a couple of days ago, but if ou go to Yahoo's most emailed photos, there is a couple of shots of a circus act in China. Its a lion riding a horse!!!!: eek: The horse doesn't seem to be in stress, His ears are forward, his eyes are not big. Check it out

I couldn't find yahoo's most emailed photos, so I did a search for "lion riding a horse".:rolleyes:
Is this the pic you are talking about?! All I can say is Wow! That is really hard to believe. :popcorn: I feel kind of bad for the horse, that has to be scaring him.:eek:

Wow. Look at the eyes of the horse!!!!!:eek:
Yeah those photos the horse looks more spooked then the one I saw. It has to be going against everything in that horses instincts to tolerate the lion, not to mention the weight.

That lion weighs way too much for that horse to begin with!!! And check out the rips and tears in the saddle cover!!! Wonder how many times that lion has drawn blood from that horse. Poor thing. I saw this on my news a few days ago and meant to mention it too!!! I found it very disturbing!

That lion weighs way too much for that horse to begin with!!! And check out the rips and tears in the saddle cover!!! Wonder how many times that lion has drawn blood from that horse. Poor thing. I saw this on my news a few days ago and meant to mention it too!!! I found it very disturbing!
Dang. I had to go back and look. Yes, I agree...very disturbing!

That poor horse. That lion is WAY to big & heavy to be riding that animal.
Predator on top of the prey....just like in the wild during a takedown. Poor horse.

I saw that too and had the exact same thought. I was sort of hoping he was at least declawed, but can you declaw a lion? I know you can with a cat, but....
Why would anyone want to put a lion on a horse? What is the point of that. It goes completely against the horse's instincts and to trust the lion not to attack... It's crazy.
Non-horse people looking for entertainment. That is just wrong.
