GM announced that it burned through $6.2B in cash over the last 3 months.

That is:(roughly)

$68M a day...

$47K a minute...

$797 per second...

Mind boggling ;)

Aww, poor, GM. We need to all go out and buy new suburbans so that they don't run out of money.... riiiiight. :rolleyes:

You know... a HUGE proportion of this is pension and medical benefits they simply will have a very hard time supporting for the long term. They're in a trap set by the unions. I heard someone say about GM or Ford (and I think it applies to both) They're mostly a retirement and medical benefits fund that is only partially subsidized by selling cars.
