I read all 3, and LOVED them- the second is the least interesting to me until it got good at the end- the first and last books ROCKED! You HAVE to read them all tho!
I have all four books, my gosh, they're amazing!
I'm a Jacob fan, so the second book was probably tied with the first for my favorite!

All THREE??? What about number FOUR? There is Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and in August they released Breaking Dawn.
We had a few threads about these AMAZING books over at h.com!

OK, duh breaking dawn- the one that is the end all best one! I love how she was finally happy with her life as it turned out.

Oh OK... thanks for saying something - I might have oopsied!
I loved Breaking Dawn and also enjoyed the "tying up of loose ends" and being left without the feeling of hanging. However, there were a few things in the book I could have done without.
This is reminding me that I really need to get a hold of my friend who gave me the books to read - she is putting together a group of gals to go to Forks for Halloween!

Of course there is silly! And it's right her in Western WA... and it was even on the news this morning. Fox news did a little segment about vacationing near home since the economy is bad and people don't want to spend a lot - they talked all about how Forks has become a hot destination and they even offer "Twilight Tours". Some local guy takes people around and shows them where Bella lives, where Edward lives, where they go to school, the beach where Jacob dives...:)

Seriously???? The story and houses are based on a real place??

I'm still working on getting a hold of the last book. I don't think they are exceptionally well written books but they are definately entertaining.

Me too- I'd take Jacob over Edward, hehe.:D
I've read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse, (and LOVED them all) but not the fourth one yet. I went in to buy it at the book store but it's only out on hard cover and it was like $22.00.:( I'm hoping to get it for Christmas.
There's a La Push, Forks, everything! The Quileute Tribe (Jacob's Indian Tribe) is real.
WOO! Lizzy! *high five* Jacob fans rock! lol

I haven't read all the books yet so I don't really know what Jacob's like, but I think I'd prefer Edward. :)

I bought the books initially to give to my 11 yr old niece. Figured I'd decide if they were appropriate for her since everyone I've heard talking about it ranges from 15 to... well older then me (sorry) and there's a big difference between appropriate for 11 and 15. Took me 8 days to read all 4 books and 6 of those days I could only read after work. Anyway, I'll have to buy the series again cause she's not getting my copies! hahaha! Now I have to re-read them cause I know as fast as I devoured them I had to have missed stuff!
Oh and I've been to Forks... It's very boring and the sun never shines there. She nailed that town!
Haha. If I lived closer I would visiti Forks...but it's pretty much as far from me as you can get (not counting Hawaii and Alaska) because I'm in Georgia! lol!
I can't wait for the movie. I'm sure it won't be as great as the books...but still! :D

It was OK, but idk, it wasn't thhaatt great. Everyone is obsessed with it, but truthfully I have read better books. I can't wait to see the movie though, it should be cool.

O my gosh I LOVE those books. I read them all within a week, best series ever and Twilight is still my favorite out of the four. I don't have much hope for the movie though...sorry Robert Pattersion isn't attractive enough to be Edward  Most people I know hated Breaking Dawn but I like happy endings and knowing what happened to the characters so I thought she ended it well.

Author is Stephenie Meyer and if you haven't read them yet I definitely suggest it. :)
I'm getting New Moon tomorrow!!! I can't wait!!!

Eclipse was my fave :]
I picked it up in the USA in the summer, and then got New Moon...then bought Exclipse over here. Now I need Breaking Dawn to come out in paper back so I can afford it! And I can't wait for Edward's book to come out too :)
I'm not sure if I'm anticipating the film with dread or excitement. It could either be a good one, or they could totally mess it up.
I know Victoria doesn't have red hair tho :O the shame!!

I am not exicted for the movie either, really it will be a new set of events and stuff which they always change to make things more "interesting". From the brand new trailor the dialog is completely different, Edward doesn't have that prince/gentleman quality in his voice and he tells her he is a vampire in the woods...when in the novel its in his car. And yes Victoria doesn't have that punk edge that was described in the book.
And Midnight Sun may not come out because it was put out on the internet. But I think Meyers will break down and finish it for her fans sake. Part of me wants her to make another novel about Renemee and part of me wants her to leave it as it is. I am such a sap though, I cried at the last page of Breaking Dawn when I saw "the end".

Ok I finished New Moon!!! It was amazingly unexpected. How's Bella gonna become a vampire if it's violating the treaty? I love Bella, but she irritated me when it took her so long to realize that Jacob's a werewolf. Don't spoil Eclipse or Breaking Dawn for me! I'm getting those next!

I'm so curious what they're going to do with Breaking Dawn. That was an incredibly effed up book, I can't imagine how they're going to make it into a movie.

I am an Edward fan for sure.
Zoe, me too. I hope the movies are good, though. I heard they're making it into 2 movies because of all the crap that happens.
