My 21st birthday is very inconviniently placed on Monday. My plan was just to come home this weekend for dinner with the fam, have dinner with some friends Monday and then party over Spring Break. Wednesday I got a call from my cousin who is head bouncer at a club here in Tampa to say that he's throwing me a party at the club in VIP for as many people as I can bring! I'm so excited, I'm heading out in about half an hour and can't wait! A bunch of my really good friends are coming, some who I haven't gotten to hang out with in a while, so it should be fun. Plus my cousin got us two bottles of vodka and a few bottles of champagne for the VIP lounge. I'm wearing a brand new dress and my nicest heels :) Party time!

I hope you had a royal blast last night! My 21st birthday was on a Saturday. :p 'Course I spent all day with my family at Gold Rush, then had a joint party with my cousin (who was turning 18 a week later) but... it was still a Saturady. :D

woohoo! Hope you had a blast! I'm sure you did ;) I hope you've got some good pics to share.
There is something worse than having your 21st land on a Monday...you could have 1 like mine, I was sick as a dog & hadn't even had anything to drink!

Well I had a blast! My cousin really went all out, he's the best! The owner of the bar gave my entire party a round of shots on the house and my cousin kept our mixers and tubs full all night. I've never been to his club before and it's actually really cool. I met some really nice people, danced, drank, and of course, took pictures! But.... they're all on my friend's camera so I have to wait till she gets off work to get them. But it was definitely my best birthday party ever (not hard though, considering I spent my 16th showing sheep, my 17th at a flooded horse show, my 18th with a colicing horse, 19th at a equestrian team meet and 20th just out of the hospital with diabetes!) So this one really rocked!

Yeah, lol. I just saw I had a missed call from you. My parents threw me a surprise party tonight, so I was unexpectedly busy, lol. I'll try and call you while I'm driving home tomorrow.

I'm still waiting on the pics from my friend, but here's some pics of my cake from my surprise party. One of my parents' friends made it! It's a fondant cake and it was amazing. I'm obsessed with fondant cakes so this really just made my day. I was so thrilled with it.

Holy Smokes, look at that cake!!!! Did you have a birthday or get married? :) I would love a great big piece of that with all the frosting and ice cream, too. But then again, it's probably sugar free, isn't it? I'd still give it a try.

Nope, I don't do sugar free. The "frosting" is rolled fondant. Most people actually don't like the taste of it, but I do. It's used mostly because it's so beautiful and since it's rolled out and then stuck on and can be shaped or colored any way it can be used to make all sorts of interesting designs. If you google it, you'll see some absolutely beutiful things. It's like art. The cake inside was marble and delicious, so no one minded the fondant on tope, they just ate around it!
