Monday Morning Thread?

Coffee, cereal... and I guess sandwich stuff is around (since it is lunchtime). Help yourself!

My internet just came back up. Our phone and internet went out last night... sometime between midnight and 2 and came back on in the last half hour. A lot of people are still without power - ours never blinked (mainly because we didn't get any snow up here). My observation of a classroom in the next county north was cancelled today because of ice on the roads. That's okay, today's my first official day of Spring Break! :D

Good afternoon!

Had to work today but I'm on my lunch break so I thought I would pop in here. We did have a couple that wanted to go riding today in the snow but they just cancelled. WOOHOO! But my friend and I are still stuck at the barn until 5PM since the boys are staying in their stalls tonight so they can't come in until then. Hopefully we can find our cars by the time we have to leave! :doh:

Snow day today, thank god.
Dad gave me a big list of chores, and im not going to be home much the rest of the week, so I have to scramble to get that done today.
The biggest thing? Clean my room, going through drawers and everything. Has he lost his mind?! That is not a one day project.
I already cleaning the bathroom top to bottom and have homework to do.

I am here. Just sent the trailer off with Bob to get newer tires put on. These will at least have a tread on them. The old ones were pretty bald in my mind. Got some used truck tires that are at least radials and we are going to try those. Then its the lights and we are good to go. So I can ride my own horses instead of the blind boy at the stable...

Morning all!

I spent from 9am until about 1 this afternoon fixing my boyfriend's laptop.....viruses all over it! He had some rogue Trojan bug that was presenting itself as "Antivirus 360" and kept threatening to trash the computer.... So if you ever encounter that, look up "Spyware Search and Destroy." It's a free program that'll get rid of it all. :) Worked like a charm....once I finally found what the problem was and how to fix it! :rolleyes:

Well, it's a cold day here in Columbus....temps below zero this morning with windchill. But it's going to be sunny and beautiful looking out at least. Unfortunately I won't be making it to the barn today - I spent way too much money yesterday and my gas tank is about on empty....and tomorrow I have to drive back to my hometown for an appointment, so I figure I'll swing by the barn on my way home from that and save myself some gas. :(

Last night I bought a new bridle and breastcollar with a running attachment, as well as 2 dosages of Fluvac Innovator 6 for my guy, which he needs before we move to the new barn....getting my ducks in a row here....

But as for today, I think I'm going to try to pick up around here, maybe get some laundry done, and work on my resume and sending out some apps online. Sigghhh....

Yup a lazy day here. Rain WIND rain wind all night long.....ugh! I got the stalls done and have to invoice for my work for last month...then we will see how the days goes. Cold and windy still but I see the sun peeking through!!:cool:

It really can stop any time now 8" to start my day and another 3" on the way I sure don't think I'll make it to see the princess today and we had such a great ride on Sat.

Good afternoon!
It's a beautiful day here in Florida (definitely not to rub it in.. haha) 65 degrees farenheit and sunny. I'm in study hall now, barely making it through the school day. I got almost 5 hours of sleep, was up most of the night finishing some online homework. One more hour of school then off to the orthodontist. I might be getting my braces off, hehe. I wish I could ride today though.
I just found out yesterday that Laredo & I have a show March 15th! It's a good thing I've been riding him a lot lately..cause I was expecting my first show would be on April 3rd, not next weekend. I'm veryyy excited, I haven't shown since October? Around their. Laredo's a wooly mammoth.. fluffy and beast like. But he's been so amazing everytime I've ridden him the past few weeks. My friend who has barely ridden a horse before got on him and he was an absolute doll, so patient & well mannered. Didn't try anything. I'm proud xD

It's official ~ it actually does snow in DE. we are snowed in. 10 inches so far & still snowing but it's beginning to tapper off. The worse part of it all the wind, has drifts everywhere. Back roads (where I live) are unpassable! POOOP looks like I'm stuck in the house. I was suppose to move Legend today to her new home but obviously that isn't happening! :( Then I wanted to go out & get some pictures of her in the snow and that isn't going to happen. BLAH! Good things I got dogs at home to enjoy!!

Back to shoveling snow. Hope everyone is well.

Not really. I prefer spring break to happen when the low is around 70*... not 20*. :rolleyes: Oh well, I guess I got to play in the snow instead of taking a swim. :D

Sorry about the move FF - I hope the roads clear up for you soon! :)
