Jeeze! My poor hubby!

Okay this is a rant for STUPID people! Some of you might know that my husband is a police officer and works for a school district. He has to be at work at 6:30 am his Sargent tells him that they are having a grand re-opening of a school that finally finished repairing from hurricane Ike and he is assigned to work okay not a problem overtime right? Well the day goes well he is on his way home and calls me......I'm telling him about my day and I hear him screaming from the car "WHAT THE H3!! are you doing" then I hear "babe, I got to call you back we have someone driving backward down the road and they nearly hit me" okay love you bye........that was about 9:00 pm..........I just get another call......."this has turned in to a big thing and I am arresting 2 people for all kinds of things so I won't be home till midnight if I'm lucky" greeeeeeeeeeat!

and to top it off......he didn't come home last night. He got done with all the paperwork at about 2:40.....we live 1 hour from the police department he wouldn't have gotten home till almost 4 and he has to leave at 5:20 so he would have gotten 30 minuets of sleep so he decided to just stay at the PD to get as much sleep as he could......my poor baby!:mad:

I did not realize your hubby was a police officer. It is amazing what goes on out there, being the spouse of a law enforcement officer is one tough job. Glad he is ok and hope he gets to catch up on his rest.

Ahh! The wonderful world of law enforcement. I make my own schedule and I still have days like that.

I didnt realize your hubby was a cop either. Cool!
I think cops are pretty cool.
My dad was a Dept Sheriff, stand in Sheriff, Dick(ment in the nice way)Narc(helped start the narc squad in Seattle), undercover cop, ect.
They are so cool to me. I hate it when there are idiot cops though, just ticks me off.

((Hugs)) I feel your pain my hubby is in the usaf and he never has a set schedule. Atleast your hubby has good stories about dumb people.
