Well tomorrow is the big day!!! We are picking up the haflinger around 11 am. Might take a while to get him loaded though - I'm not looking forward to that part.

However, I know I have been begging for rain, but reall, does it have to come on the day I am picking up my boy? I hate driving in the rain, especially with a trailer. Hopefully there is a little pocket of no rain there.

OK, no more praying for rain.
Hope the move goes well.
We need pics, video, which ever.

Take your time on loading, do your ground work, disengage, lunge, ect. It'll work.
Patience is the main key.
Spent many a time loading problem horses, never got irritated, just worked it out.

How exciting... I'll keep some good vibes going for no rain and smooth loading! Might want to call them and ask them not to feed her that day (kinda too late for the day before too). I find a hungry horse will get in a trailer for food! But like everyone said, just take your time!

We will be on the edge of our keyboards waiting for pics!!!! psssss... don't for get to take the batteries off charge and put them in the camer, charged batteries at home don't do much good (I speak from experiences)!

How exciting! I hope the rain goes away long enough for you to pick up the horse. Good luck with the loading, and have a safe trip.

LOL - but this is a haflinger - they could be stuffing their face all day long and still be hungry for more. They are food addicts! :p

However, I will be creating a new thread telling our story for today and ... maybe a few pics. Watch for it!
