View Full Version : The new arena at Diane/SM's place is finished!

Here are some pics as promised. A little late, yes, but at least you don't have to be kept in suspense for an update each day, lol.

SM has a very funny story about the three amigos being put back into the big pasture for the first time last night after the work was finished. I'll let him tell it, though, because I'll mess it up- wasn't there to actually see the silliness. :p

Phase 1- grading:

So there we go~ all ready for the sunny days ahead (after the rain, that is). Guess that runoff system will be put to the test for the rest of the week, huh? :( Oh well, at least it'll be nice and settled for us to kick the sand back up next week! We'll probably be doing some family trick riding by the end of summer!! :hysterical:

I replied on the other thread but wanted to say it here too. That would have been a great sight to see. I bet SM got a great laugh with them running willy nilly then getting into the arena and rolling all over the place in the new sand. Great story!!!

Wow, that's some arena. Absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to see pictures of your riding in it. Congratulations. I'd rather have that than the inside of my house fixed up!
