View Full Version : Hopi's Birthday!! + another good thing

Today is Hopi's 2nd birthday. :) I gave her lots of hugs and kisses, took her for a birthday walk and made her a "cake." The cake was some grain soaked in hot water mixed with molasses, oats, honey, carrots, peppermints and apples. It was a total sucess. :D

Other awesomeness for today.... My dad signed Chica over to me today. She is offically 100% MY horse!! Even though I've been paying every single one of her bills for the past couple years and he hasn't ridden her in 2 years he was still very much stuck on the idea that she was his horse and is always threatening to sell her. But now she'll never be sold and will be my girl for the rest of our days. :)

Anyways.... here's some Hopi birthday pictures. I'm aware of how muddy she is. I didn't feel like doing a thorough brushing because she was just going to go out and roll again. :rolleyes:

I didn't even think of that. We went through the "terrble ones" and it was pretty terrible..... maybe she got it all out of her system :D

Happy Birthday Hopi!!!! Looks like she loves her cake! Congratulations on Chica too, that has to make you feel relieved that she's now yours and he can't take her from you. Love the pictures!

Hehe, FSA maybe I'll start a horse cake making business. :D I'm sure if you put anything edible in there Prod will eat it. When is his birthday again?

Oursarge, it is AWESOME to know Chica is my horse and no one will ever be able to take her away from me. I've spent a lot of nights tossing and turning thinking she was going to be sold. Peace at last. :)
