Ugh - still a big mess. It looks so daunting. One little bit at a time, eh?

yup......it's just not something to can hammer out the nails or crush with a front end loader......I hate that thing! LOL.....but it's coming along and I will get my round pen.....Might even see with the salvaged tin and polls if I can make it a covered round pen EEK!.....FIL said he is going to get some hispanics to come and finish the rest in a day or two.....

Will you be adding a new surface on top if you put in a round pen? It seems like it would be loaded with old nails. I'd at least go over it with a big magnet, many times. I have a rolling magnet that works really well.

The top will be scraped with the dirt buggy and 2 or 3 loads of sand brought in.....but there has only been hay stored in there till recently when my BIL moved in that pile of wood in there.

Well, scraping the top and adding a surface will probably give you plenty of buffer then, if there is anything there.
