Jack makes up for the stroke

Jack- or his new alter-ego Jacques, as I am now referring to him- was SO good for me today. I'm wondering if the bumps on the head yesterday didn't do him some good. Jacques was (dare I say) perfect for lunging and ground tying.. then bridling, a few laps around the ring, standing while mounted (as in, stopping and then standing still), and standing alone after I got off!

I really like this Jacques character! :D :D :D

So yay, Jacques! LOL! And all the while it was raining down on the tin roof HARD. He wasn't crazy about the sound at first but was fine after just a minute. :)

I believe they did, ALOK. In fact, one of the BO's was looking at him today and said they saw a VERY similar horse while driving down the road the other day. I think he was trying to cover his tracks. :nono:

:hysterical: Diane!! That's definitely the plan. Tell Buck & Mira Mira I'm workign on it. ;) It's not looking like we'll be going on Sunday unless by some strange turn of events we don't get the storms tomorrow.. we were hoping for at least some sun in the afternoon tomorrow to dry things out a LITTLE, but oh well. I'm so glad we did this and now I won't be scared to do it again! Hopefully I can at least get out on the power lines Monday if Sunday is dry.

I'm sure Jack misses his pasture, though! I do too. He's really surprising me with the stall "coopage," though. That's definitely a relief. But I do know I can't wait to see how he'll do in the new arena at home now!
