I just listened to my voice mails and there was one from Katie (Fire1) - she was calling from the campground she's at for her endurance competition (she did 25 miles). She said that Fire was awesome and they were in 4th place but might end up in 3rd as there was talk of the 2nd place finisher being pulled. WOOHOO - way to go Fire!

Yes, I will be pestering Katie to join us here just as soon as she gets home... she has had trouble with h.com as well.

Wow that is really great, I always thought that doing an endurance ride would be the ultimate great fun thing to do. Sadly I think I'd probably keel over after the first 5 miles....lol. Congrats to Katie and Fire!!

Well after a nice e-mail showing to here I have come!

Yep we did a 25 mile ride in odessa at the lakeview ranch, really nice ride. We finished in 3 hours and 5 minutes, we were 3rd place, we showed 5th for BC. I"m really excited and very proud of my boy! Our endurance team did awsome! We had 3 people in the 25 miler and we palced 1,2,3. The 2nd place finisher and I came in together. We had 20 minutes on the 5th place finisher! Our 50 mile rider did awsoem as well and had her veyr first win! She was very excited!

well congratulations! Hopefully I can get a ride on Quest in the Spring, he is very fit right now and have no doubts he can do one, we just have to figure out a saddle.
