Well tonight our group went out for a sunset ride. I had a friend that wanted to go, so I loaded up both Missy and Dallas. My friend has owned a horse in the past but I didn't realize how "green" he was until today. :eek: So I was trying to decide which horse he should ride??? I finally decided that I would put him on Dallas, since Dallas has been a great little trail horse.

Turns out Dallas was very patient with him and was a good boy. :clap: I rode Missy, and she was very pushy...as usual, so I am glad I let my friend ride Dallas. The ride went well, afterwards we had a BBQ and just relaxed.

I was so proud of my little Dallas! :)

Looks like a great ride...I am looking into joining two local trail riding clubs now that my ankle is healed and I am able to ride for the first time in over a year. I am glad Dallas was such a good boy for your friend and I am sure Missy will get better with more seasoning.

So pretty out there. Someday I'd love to travel out west and go on a trail ride like that. :)

Great pics, thanks for sharring..Looks like everyone had a great time. I love riding late in the day too. In the 3rd. pic, what is that guy carring?? Looks like a soda or a beer can? Hope he took it with him when it was empty.

Looks like you had a lot of fun! Someday, I'd like to be able to visit down there and go for a ride- it's such different country than what I'm used to.

Yep...that's my daughters pink horn bag. :) I like using it, so if the horse gets away, she will be easy to see. :) Can't miss that BRIGHT pink color.

LOL Farmers Wife, it gets HOT here! 115 and sometimes 120 degrees. We are in our great riding weather right now. Been in the high 70's and 80's. :)

Great pics! I'm glad Dallas was a good boy for your green friend. I can't wait for it to warm up around her so I can hit the trails more often too.
