Back from shows!

What a crazy weekend! We had two big shows, first one was March 25 and 26, second one was 28 and 29.

Show A was going steady until Sir and I had a Country Pleasure driving class. You might see where this is going... Sir and I were warming up in the warm up arena when we stopped to talk with friends and wait for our class to be called. My friend was standing in front of Sir and my other friend was in her cart to my right. Sir shakes his head from right to left when he stands, so I thought nothing of it. Until he got his bridle stuck, flipped out, went under the cart, couldn't get up, broke the right shaft of the cart and when I hopped out, I shouted "OVER CHECK! HIS OVER CHECK!" because it was stuck on the other shaft. I ripped his over check off, he stood up and we got him unhooked from the cart and I busted out in tears. It's roughly $600 to fix the ONE shaft of the cart :( Then, my friends Top 10 driving horse went lame, and to top it off, my friends other horse took off with her and then her reins snapped and people ran from the barn to tackle the mare in the run away cart with the 12 year old inside! GOODNESS!

Besides those incidents, we did pretty good this show. My smallest class was 4 people, my largest was 23. Out of 8 classes that I entered both days(Show A and B combined=16 classes), we didn't ribbon in 4 of them... So I was happy!!!

I haven't totaled my ribbon count yet because there are too many... I did get some pictures as well, they will be up soon.

I was SUPER excited for today because Kristi (Country Girl 43) and her kids came out to my show. I love seeing them! Niko and Chy entertained the 4 year old boy with us and also had fun with the minis. They had some pictures too I'm sure Kristi will post.

I'm home, Sir is safe, and everything is well... Except did I mention Sir is getting bumps again? :) Lol yup. I'm heading to take a shower and BED. I'm super, duper tired.

Ribbons from Victory Lane Training stable in Phoenix. They are AMAZING... I always lose to them but they have SO many nice horses... For every 1st place ribbon, you get $5 and every Grand/Supreme Champion, they get the multi/purple ribbons and a cooler. They won A LOT of money. LOL!

sounds like an eventful day... not all good events either. im glad Sir is ok though, and I hope your friend is ok, as well as the lame horse. Congrats on the show!

Great pics, thanks for sharing! LOL @ the last pic.. that is priceless. So... I guess cute little minis have cute little mini stalls, huh? I just really like those little guys. They're beautiful. :)

The stalls they are in are big horse stalls... They allow two minis per stall at the show grounds, and Sir fights so we divided him and Commander :)
