Minnesota Horse Expo

I know this may be a little early, but the Minnesota Horse Expo is coming up in April and I am SO EXCITED! I love the Expo, it's more fun than all the horse shows combined and a barrel full of monkeys (well, at least that is what I think)....lol.

Soooo....who is going? What is your favorite exhibit/demonstration there?? I really love to watch the Icelandics, they put on a great demonstration every time. And, of course the Friesians are to die for. Does anyone remember that Friesian chariot from a few years ago?! :cowboy:

I AM GOING.....:clap:... I am so exicited. I am going with Shewasmyshadow. I am going on Friday for sure and maybe on saturday also. Our trainer is going to be there. I want to see Stacy Westfall and go to the tack swap. We should meet up again. Make a day of it. I wanted to get a hotel and stay overnight. There is so much there I want to see.

It's so much fun, there is so much to see there, lots of good food, fabulous stuff to buy (from horse stuff, to clothes and jewelry and artwork, and a ton of saddles and bridles and anything you need for feed, etc.). Th different breeds are all so fun to watch too.

I hope to get there at least one day. It would be fun to meet some members. My wife isn't on the forum or very interested in it so not sure what she thinks of meeting members especially since most of you are gals. :)

It wold be fun to tell her I'm going to the expo with the "girls." LOL

I'm a big fan of the Morgans and I hope to see the people from ND that I bought my filly from.

Yup, me and Farmers are going to the tack sale!! I'm so excited. I might even look at saddles. :D The hotel idea sounds fun too. Hmmm...

I am hoping to go on Saturday, I'm not 100% sure yet....I am trying to decide if I want to take my car or not, or rent a car (my car is getting up there and I just sunk some money into it). A couple friends of mine may go too....so I am still working out the details. But, Saturday is probably the day. I hope we have nice weather for it.

Whispering Pines, if you can't make it to the MN Expo, the Midwest Horse Fair in Madison, WI is the weekend previous to the MN Expo....maybe you can get to that one? The Midwest Horse Fair is actually bigger, and a teeny bit better I think. Both are fun, but the Midwest Horse Fair is really spectacular!

So, you'll be in the horse barn? What stable are you with? Farmers and I take lessons at Blackshire and I know they'll be there.

Horseluvr...I will look for you at the Expo, is there a particular farm you are going to be with? I looked at the Friesian line-up on the Expo website and I think I saw that Legendwoods was going to be there, is that the one?

i will be with bella luna ranch, carisbrook farms, i am not sure if blackshire is going to be by us this year or not, when you walk into the horse breed barn you see the round pens, you would walk past them back to the second half of the buildingand we are in the first isle on the left
