Well this is better than nothing and definitely works for now. ;) Also, I know on HGS they have a built in chat and you can't view the forum as you are chatting, I think that's kind of a bummer. =/

I love it! Except there's no one there right now... But it should be pretty busy in no time.

If you build one in people can choose their own chat- icons, their own color, the background color and everything

I like the idea of gabbly chat - you can chat and check out the forum at the same time. Chat will probably be more busy in the evenings.

haha, i see the change of forums hasn't changed you lol. It would be kinda confusing, though. But I think we should have a chat option where you can go to the page, invite people who are on to chat, etc...

Is there a way to block cursing in the chat? I just popped in there for a minute and... wow... I don't want our younger memebers to have to deal with that.

OK - He's the only one who was in there when I went in. I asked him who was cussing and he said it wasn't him.

I'll mail him a warning note in private to make sure he sees it but zach.... consider yourself warned! :mad:

Bad language is not allowed in the chat rooms any more than it would be tolerated here on the forum. No more. And pretending to be someone else in there is also grounds for a suspension.

Chat rooms are hard to moderate ANYWAY. Please behave in them. This is a test of maturity you have to pass. If you can't be trusted to behave, we'd rather ban you than limit everyone else.

I think it could be fun. My Voyage list has a chat but it isn't a forum, it's a Group via email. But we have fun on our chat nights.
