I may finally be getting out of the house!!!

Still no sign of a job and I am getting stir crazy. So a week or so ago I e-mailed a local theraputic riding center asking them about volunteer work. They just got back with me and said there is a volunteer training tomorrow.

Not a job, but atleast its something to do and it will be working with horses!

I think it's always good to have something to "do" while you are job searching :) helps keep everything in perspective, I'm going to be in the same boat soon.

fun! I spent a summer volunteering at our therapuetic riding center.. it was a lot of fun. Ours is a pretty big facility and had several programs to work in, I enjoyed it a lot. I may even intern there. Have fun!!

I had fun today. We went through the manual and then we helped with one session. Loved it.

I volunteered with a therapeutic riding program for a while. Its a good thing to do. They need volunteers for everything from stall cleaning to grooming to keeping the horses well trained to leading the horses during a class.

I feel your pain. I am about ready to start volunteering at the Humane Society.
