Finally Friday!!!

Woo-hoo, it's Friday and I don't have to work today.:D And I slept in until 8:00 (stayed up until midnight) so the day is starting off right.:cool:

It's pretty chilly this morning. We have a wood burner, and we made the first fire of the season this morning. Brrrr! But I love this time of year. :)

I took Dakota for a really short trail ride last night--bareback of course xD--and he was so spunky. He pranced the whole time (in a good way, not like the OMG-I'M-GOING-TO- BOLT kind of prancing;)). I don't think he understands or cares that his Dr. said to take it easy for a while! :rolleyes::cool: I love my poneh. xD

I'm going to ride today, try to get motivated enough to do some schoolwork, and a few other things. How about you guys?

I can't offer you much for breakfast because the fridge is looking pretty empty and perhaps it's time for a grocery run?:rolleyes: There is cereal in the cupboard.... although we're almost out of milk so you'll have to fight over it.:innocent: lol, maybe everyone should just go out for breakfast today. I don't have any coffee either, because my parents and bro drank it all. Ooh, but how about hot choclate? That I have!:D

Good Morning Dakota. I just got a big pot of coffee brewing. I will have some cereal, and it looks like I am first to get to the milk!!!!

I have some office work to do this morning. Laundry...Then SM and I get to go to our grandson's (Carla's son) Fall Festival and walk around with him for awhile this afternoon.

Nothing else going on here. Horses are good and enjoying the weather. Although, it looks like it is going to rain today.

Cool and rainy today, great day to sleep in, if you can, which I cannot! My coffee was weak this morning, I think my eyes weren't open when I made it:eek:. So I am in need of a good jolt of java.

Had a handful of peanuts for breakfast.............:p will be having my usual DanActive Probiotic drink in a few, other than that, I am already thinking about lunch..........

I'll take some hot chocolate! We've had our wood burner going for about two weeks now. Of course, wouldn't you know once we started it the temps got hot again, but they're back to being cool again.

Gonna try to get a ride in today. Can't do housework in this beautiful October weather! My hubby will be at deer camp tonight so it will probably be pancakes for dinner tonight. :) Why do kids think pancakes for dinner are the best thing in the world? LOL!

Good morning! For once Caveman went hunting without leaving me stocked with food (we didn't make it to town). Not even any cereal. I made a peanut butter sandwich with my last two slices of bread.

But I do have plenty of Pepsi, so I'm good. :)

Good morning everyone. Just work on the schedule today. Last night I had an interesting wrestling match with a couple of big round bales of hay. I got it from my neighbor and used his trailer.

It's always interesting trying to unload big bales with no equipment. The area in front of the pole barn where I keep it was really muddy so backing into the barn was next to impossible. Then I just tie off the bale to something sturdy and drive away from it. The backing through the mud was the funny part. I ended up using two trucks after one got a little stuck.

Morning everyone! Dakota you are lucky you just started your wood burner today. We've had ours started since the beginning of Oct. if not before that! Brr!!!

Today I want to get out and do something, so I'm working on what I can do with the kids that is somewhat entertaining. Tomorrow I might go to Eau Claire with my mom to do some shopping and get some fabric.

Hubby is hunting tonight and this whole weekend. Early T zone or something like that. So... nothing too exciting for me. Hoping for a little bit of time to go for a ride this weekend though.

Stellaluna; I understand about the riding weather taking priority over ???? do that a lot during riding season. (note to self, LOVE my HUBBY!!!)
As for kids loving pancakes for dinner, I have no clue but my son thinks its the greatest thing too.

Well, don't have too much time left. Hubby is about the leave and I have to get MY engine up and running! Someone said,"COFFEE!" Give me the pot!

You just now had a fire???? LOL we've had one for 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well I took a vacation day today so I'm home!! :) Took lily out for a squirrel hunt, getting her ready for tomorrow, lane went with me. We went for breakfast this morning, French Toast Bacon Eggs Coffee and OJ. Just me and my little man. We had fun. Buttercup left this morning so just SUi now, I'm debating on getting a PALOMINO Gelding nearby that is FREE. Hmmm Very tempting. He's already broke to ride is 15 years but no papers. Well all have a great day there will be pics of lil on the tree in Pets.

Morning all. I had fun with the stupid coyote last night. So I will be target practicing this weekend and taking my gun and flashlight with me to the barn in ther early a.m. and late p.m. I really do not like how close he is to the house nor do I like him in the pasture with the horses.
Supposed to be nice this weekend which is good as we have tons to do outside.

Morning all :) About to take off for work. I'm dreaming of my little cup'o'coffee when I get there. Hope today isn't too bad, I want my mood to stay good for the start of the weekend. It's a possibility I'll be spending my Sat at the Laguna Seca La Manz (sp?) race...if not I'll be going on a trail ride by myself. I'm just gonna bite the bullet and get out there since it's too hard to get people together to go with me. Me and Biggs will do some exploring, hopefully we don't get ourselves lost. I'll try to bring my camera and show you our view. Well gotta run, got about 10 min to get dressed, feed the pup and get gone. Be back when I get to work! :)

Hello all! Didnt get much sleep last night... my greys anatomy dvds kept me up :) . Just have class today until 2 and then im headed home! Hopefully ill have a good weekend at the barn. My best friends sister who used to ride and work at the barn for many years is coming back on sunday to ride with us, which should be fun, she hasnt met Ben yet. No breakfast for me this morning.. not very hungry

Good morning y'all!

I'm working from home today and have LOTS of work, errands and a little housework to do... I figure if I at least get the laundry and sweeping done I'll have time to ride this weekend. It's 62 degrees out already (ten degrees warmer than the high temp earlier this week) and there is some sunshine - we're supposed to have a nice Saturday and Sunday around here.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day in their neck of the woods - get your chores done and then HAVE FUN!

Hello All! It's not morning anymore NOT here anyway! Matter of fact is early evening! I just thought I would do my daily check in before Vicklynn comes knocking on my computer door for being gone & not requesting a LOA! :p See I'm still here & alive. Well sort of! Anyway I got off this afternoon from working a 30 hr shift & then did a BUNCH of errands & then came home & took a lil nap!

Tonight ~ Bonfire at our house! Gonna be a good night as long as the rain holds out! Nice & cool.

I'm a lil peeved with the hunnie but its not worth wasting my breath or your guys time!
