Since I broke my ankle and have just recently been able to properly run (and now, Rolo maybe small, but he's broken every record at my club lol) to do agility. This sunday is my first week back and you know I can't wait!! I'm sure Rolo can't either, he loves it so much.
The Hoof n Woof (we're champions xD) he's won every year for ages beating HUGE dogs, lol. Everyone was cheering, it was so cool lol:) it's soon, I can't wait... wahooo!!
will let you all know how things go (update on this thread, I'll do)

Cool! I did a little bit of agility with my Gidget. It's a lot of fun! I hope you've got someone who can take pictures!

Lol it is, and I spent about 8months of it with Rolo running off, ignoring me getting worse each week. Till, one week, something clicked he listened and yes, he can stil be stubbern and uses your every flaw but he's improved so much in all ways. It's fun again :D

Looks like fun, I've always wanted to do it with a dog! I've got a dachshund now, though, and though she has powerful legs and can really run and jump when hiking, she's not very agile, if she fell off something she'd crack her back, I think. Will be watching for updates on your fun, though!

Doxies aren't exactly built for jumping are they? ;)
The thing I liked about agility is there are lots of good trials that are not AKC or breed oriented that welcome mutts. So it gave me a chance to do something with my 'product of indiscriminate breeding'. She was good at it too. We were nearly ready to compete. Unfortunately, the summer that she would have been 3 years old and at her peak, I ended up moving here and needing to spend all my free time making fence so she got retired from it. I don't seem to have many good pictures....
