Were hoping she can come the weekend of my horse show which is May 17th but she has to get her license first ;) She's going to bring Chica when she comes and we'll go on loads of trails and all sorts of crazy stuff

Hehe, when I told her I was coming she said her mom doesn't cook vegan. :D I said that's fine. When I'm staying at someone else's house and they're actually willing to try to cook vegan they can never do right. I end up having to say "no cheese is not vegan.... No fish isn't either. Neither is chicken. Sorry I don't eat hamburgers....." I always cook my own meals, it's just easier for everyone. :)

The drive is around 4 hours I think, maybe a little longer with the trailer

Zoe, make sure that the tires on the trailer are inflated properly. Be extra careful changing lanes and don't try to continue if you get drowsy. Do I sound like a dad or what? :)

Haha, I'm pretty sure her mom is bringing her now. She didn't want to drive that far with the trailer, which I don't blame her I wouldn't want to either.

But I'm not driving. I ended up never taking my driver's test because I still can't parallel park worth a darn. And I think even if I had my license I'd still have my mom take me because the route is kinda scary with the big truck and trailer. :eek:

I think Chica will do okay. She's definitely won't be thrilled about it, but she's easy to load/unload and doesn't freak out when she's in the trailer. She does get kind of sweaty but nothing unreasonable. She was once in a trailer for 8 days coming from Alaska to Oregon. She got breaks and got to stretch her legs, but that's still a very long ride. I'm sure 4 hours will be a piece of cake. :D

oh ya for hours is nothing compared to 8 days! Im sure you know this but I would just stop at least once to make sure she is hydrated and offer her water. sounds like a lot of fun!

Oh, that makes me feel better. Not that you aren't capable or anything, but that's a lot for one person without a great deal of driving experience yet. Fun! A mother and daughter outing.
