Good Saturday morning! - Coffee is on!

Morning everyone! Coffee is on!

**looks around and doesn't see everyone. Looks down at her computer clock. Taps her screen a couple times and then realizes that IS the right time.**

Ugh - that is right, I'm up at an unbelievably early time for me this Saturday morning.

Hubby had to get up early because he is leaving for Germany this morning. Lovely work trip for him but it leaves me all alone until next Saturday.

And are we really all that strange? The girls at work are like "Great, time for yourself!" But really, I don't like THAT much time for myself. Maybe an hour or two, or an evening out with the girls, and then I am set. I prefer to be WITH my husband - and that is still after working with each other at the same company for almost 2 years now.

So then I get told that its "young love" and that someday I will appreciate this type of time alone. Really? I just don't see it happening. We've been married 5 years, but together for 10. Still no feeling of "just needing to get away".

Oh well. So I went out and fed the horses and pet Willie. He doesn't greet me yet, but does stand there and let me pet his neck. I'm hoping someday to hear his soft whicker in welcome.

So now I am up, have nothing to do, but can't go back to sleep. Might have to take a nap later today. :sleep:

Good morning all! Hey, I get to be the Saturday morning starter!! I don't know if that is good or bad--I'd rather be sleeping in a little more:(! I have to run my 15 year old son to the school to catch the bus to Cross Country districts.

Good Morning Me&Chic & Mandisue~ I thought I was the only one crazy enough to be up this early on a sat.

We got a "big" ball tourament today. (Big Ball is like a softball but a lil bit bigger & more cushionie!) Anyway its for a good cause and we do this every year but this year we did it 2. It's really fun & its really just a good excuse 4 red neck to be bad a playing & a reason 4 drinking so early in the AM. :rolleyes: Anyway it's a great time & that is what I'll be doing all day today!

Tommorrow back to work. :(

I hope everyone has a great rest of weekend & remember enjoy your children, pets & each other lifes only so long!!

Hmmm can I be strange with you all too! Me & my better half are almost always together & really dont' enjoy it when were not. We are just such good friends that it makes life easier and we "compliment" each other so well.

I got a Bigball tourament today! can't wait... matter of fact... I need to go get the "men" up. This should be a chore... They were up late drinking & sitting by the bon fire!Must run..... I'll post pictures later!

It's nice to have some company when you're the only one awake in the house! lol. I'm getting a new cell phone today... yesss! =D I'm also headed to the barn to do some things with Tanner. I've been out there twice since Monday (when I was hurt) and he thinks my crutch and my cast are edible lol. He's so cute. He's going to get a nice brushing today and then he's going to be doing some jumping. :) I'll have to get some pictures of that. :D

Goooood morning! McDs for breakfast... It's 6:10 here and about to leave the house. Gotta go pick up Rockypoo and take him to the chiropractor. I live about 1 hour north of Rocky, and the Chiro is 1 hour north of where I live!!! DANG! Wish us well with the appointment!

Tonight I have my schools homecoming dance. I'm excited :) I get my hair done at 3:30, then some people are coming over for an Olive Garden To-Go dinner, pictures, and then off to the dance!! YAY! I'll take pictures, promise!

Morning! It's chilly inside the house~~brrr. We have a boiler for heat which is one of the dumbest things a builder could put in for heat:( It should warm up today so that is a bright spot. Going for hay today, and then to my daughter and son-in-laws house warming. Got a ride in yesterday on Dude, sort of. He's being a snot about going too far from the house so we did some work. Unfortunately, it didn't work, but I didn't give in to him.

I understand... There's no one I'd rather be with than my husband :) He's my best friend. But then I guess we're still 'young love' too. We've been together around 5 years.

Good morning!

Decided to hop on here just a moment (really, just ONE moment) just before chores to say HI! First weekend I'm planning on staying here all weekend & not working in about 2 months. My cousin is down from college & we're planning to go ride my horses later today - that is, if the fields are still too wet to work (I think they are. 5" rain will do that lol). And I have a pumpkin cheesecake to make for a family gathering tomorrow. I wonder if it will make it to tomorrow - it's SO good! lol

Cat - I can understand where you're coming from. I hope that the time goes by quickly for you. That is great that your "young love" feeling is still going. I know of a couple that has been married for 20 years...and she still sits beside him driving around town, they hold hands, etc. - it's just cute as ever (IMO)!

And before I skat (for now - be back later!), I'll set out some cinnamon rolls. Help yourself & have a good weekend!

Good Gold Rush morning!! Will, his ex-roommate Josh (and most of my family and Will's Mom, sister and niece) are all going to Gold Rush today. Then to Nana's this evening for my and my cousin's birthday supper :D (his birthday's next Saturday, so we always party together)!

I'm in the process of fixing my iPod so we can listen to it while waiting to park (really late start... guess that's what I get for inviting a dozen people to come with), but I'll survive. :D

Good morning all!!! I was up early, went to turn the herd out and am just settling in for a few minutes on our wonderful forum.

My band has a gig today at one of the local schools. The Truett Lollis Band rides again. Beautiful weather. We will be at one of the large metro area school's fall festival and will be having a LARGE time.

Not much to add today except that I have to go to work soon. However, my weekend was awesome. We had some nice family adventures with the kids and I had some good quality time with the horses.

Good morning everyone! Just had coffee and I'm off to town (96 miles) to get a haircut and restock my Starbuck's stash....

I need to quit eating so much.....There is really nothing much to do here on the reservation and my life has become centered around food! I had to lay down on the bed to zip my Wranglers this morning.....Pants that are too tight can sure ruin your day.....

Cat, I work around a lot of older people and I see the old couples who are still best friends. I love to hear the 80 year old men talk about their "beautiful wives" and see them help each other get around. It gives me hope!

No riding for me today...The previous owner of Buck's Hollow is having a Birthday Party today...so I won't go over during the day...He should be moved out by October 24th. Yea!!! Then we can start cleaning up and painting and all that good stuff!!! PLEASE everyone pray for my house to sell.

I will just hang out here and do some laundry and cleaning...

Cat..Steve travels out of town too. At first when he would just be gone a couple of days, it was sorta relaxing for me..But now he goes for longer periods...and I find I just don't like all that "quite time" as much.

Good Saturday morning! My boyfriend called me at 7 o clock on a saturday!!! :mad: yes its nice he missed me .. but 7 o clock!!??!! Then I went back to bed until 9 and was woken up by my alarm.. time to get some studying done before I go ride Ben. after I post here im going to go make a thread in the health section... so you should all scurry over there. Saturday evening and I've shown myself of the forum at long last!
I haven't been the most active cookie in the jar recently but I shall now change that!!
Had a great horsey-day today, really nice. Beautiful (chilly) autumn day the leaves orangey coloured and falling to the floor... Billy just LOVES crunching through them all.
A sucessfull Dressage lesson also with the Bobble, just a wonderful day.
I hope everyone else is as happy :)
