Anyone else participating in National Novel Writers Month?

Its running the month of November and you try to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. Sounds crazy fun and I am going to try. I've been working on a couple fantasy-type novels (think Narnia or something like that) but I think I am going to try my hand at a realty-based novel that will include horses.

I might be completely :crazy: by the time its over, but oh well.

Good luck. That sounds like so much fun. I would love to try, but everytime I have paper in front of me my mind goes blank. lol oh well. I will cheer you on.

I did it two years ago and it was NOT easy!! Fun, but hard!! I finished an entire novel in that one month and I've been editing it ever sense! lol. Definitely fuel up on chocolate!! And do Nanofimo (national novel finishing month!) in December!!! Good luck!!! It's certainly a rush!

EW - Thanks for letting me know what its like! This is my first year. Lots of chocolate & coffee. Work is just going to love me that month, aren't they? I'll be in zombie mode at work. LOL.

Oh yes!!! I did it when Wyatt was 15 months old and I sometimes thought I had lost my mind. But it's something I will always remember and look back on with happiness. What's your user name. . i might signup and add you as a friend just for fun!!! The forums are a blast. . lots of nice people. . and they are usually hopping at 2 in the morning which was when my creativity started to pour out.. . . I wrote 10,000 words in one day during the month and it was exhausting but fun! (normally I wrote 3000 a day or I tried to. . .) I wish I had it in me to do again but I don't. I tried last year and I have the book in my brain for it but the photos keep calling me away. . .
