I finally sold Scoot and I'm not ready for him to go...
Neither is Bud.
He is going to be a birthday suprise for a 5 year old girl at her party this weekend.:D
He's not gone yet but he will be by the end of the week.
I took a $300 price cut but its well worth it!
He's going to be 2 hours north of me in VT on a 40 acre farm with two other horses.
I think it will be great for him!
She sent me pics of the barn and pastures and its beautiful!
I know he's going to get all the love in the world from these people and their daughter/ granddaughter....
Im pretty excited for him!
But ..........
:cry::cry::cry::o:(:(:(
I just wanted to let ya'll know.
Sorry that he has to go, but at least it sounds like he is going to a good home! Nothing like a child to spoil a pony.

I know its hard, but that sounds like such a wonderful home. You should ask the new owners to send you pictures of when her daughter first sees him, im sure that will make you happy :)

Sounds like he is going to have a great home. It's always hard to part with an animal. But you wanted to sell him and seems like you couldn't have found him a better place to go. :)

I'm glad to see that you found Scout a great home but I am very sorry you are sad :(
Maybe you can ask the new family if they can send you pictures of him once he's settled in or if you can visit.
All the older boys that I find homes for their new families always send me pictures and tell us girls to come visit them. It makes the process of them leaving easier.

Thanks everyone for all the support:)
But yeah... this is the second horse I have lost so I know how to deal with it a little better this time.
But he's such a good boy and I ope this home is all it seems to be...and more...
