I wanted to make his mane nice and neat for if we do any showing. I'm also sick of his thick mane and with the summer coming he gets hot and sweaty under it.

My poor sore hands though....

He looks sporty with his lovely pulled mane :) Did you pull it so you can braid it or just pull it for looks?

My hands are killing me.

I pulled it for both looks and braiding. I loved the long mane for while but it just got to be too much of a hassle and it made his thick neck look that much thicker.

It is 9in long now...gives you an idea on how thick his neck is and just how long it was. hahahaha

Oh, I think he looks fantastic with it pulled. You're right - the long mane made his neck look much thicker and him crestier than he actually is. Job well done, I'd say! :)
