My Old Man

We have had the evil Kitty (as he came to be known) since he was 4 weeks old. We adopted him after he'd been brought in that morning found in a field all alone. It's strange to think that he won't be here after almost 12 years. He simply went missing a week ago, and while we continue to search for him, I don't want to keep high hopes of him being found. He was elderly, cantankerous, arthritic, and a little bit special (he had chronic urinary tract blockages, and got the surgery for it just about two years ago).

Well, there is still a chance he'll be found. My old blind cantankerous cat surprised us a couple of times, disappearing for days and then just showing back up. Once he was gone two months.

Please don't give up hope yet. Cats have been known to disappear for long periods and come back again.

We still have to call Animal Control on Monday, however he's never been away from home for this long. The longest he's ever been away from home was maybe a night. I'm still looking, but I have a strong suspicion that he will not be found.
